Eh, they might have been, at least the ones on the Islands. They didn't have proof eitherway though. They just wanted names and they tried to bully the school district to get them.

My dad told them "show us a warrant or fuck off"

Look at some of his other videos...the guy goes around trying to piss off cops while filming them. He got what he deserved.

Fugitives, terrorists, drug smugglers, human trafficking, kidnappers, and wanted criminals. If the law enforcement has a lead that someone will be using a particular route to get through an area then why not? I never really understood why citizens wouldn't want to help law enforcement catch criminals. Just a bunch of unwarranted paranoia if people don't trust law enforcement and believe that a road block or searching their car is infringing on their rights. I would much rather be a civil servant than a non-cooperative conspiracy believer.

Yeah, because the Gestapo was a conspiracy.

Conspiracy? Civil servant? WTF are you talking about? This is about waiving our constitutional rights. If we waive our rights, we have no rights. Why should a border patrol agent know anything more than if I am an American citizen? So you'r saying, if they ask you to do a "precautionary" search of your car, you'd consent without question?

Thats the thing though, these road blocks are not set up for a specific incident of investigation. They are just set up to trap people that happen to pass through and might be doing something illegal.

Catching people doing illegal things is not bad in itself, but this country is not one that should tolerate random road blocks.

believe me when i say that drugs, weapons, and people will continue to come across the border no matter what the cartels operate on both sides with impunity and are better equipped than the feds are and the feds are corrupt all the way to the top

how do you think a truckload of cocaine comes through when I can't even get through with a pill someone lost in the back seat of my truck?

corruption at the highest level of ICE and CBP

I wouldn't care at all. I have nothing to hide.

run along be a good little sheep don't think for yourself just turn your brain off and cruise on auto pilot for the rest of your life if you can really call it a life with that attitude

So you would waive your constitutional right against unreasonable search and seizure, because you have nothing to hide? It's not about you having something to hide. It's about letting the authorities know you are aware of your rights and won't allow your rights to be trampled on. They should know they can't search willy nilly anyone they have a slight hunch might be doing something illegal. In fact, just stopping people randomly for no apparent reason is borderline unconstitutional; i.e. illegal.

Dude your going nuts for nothing. Im definately no sheep. If the border patrol asks to search its because they have a reason. These guys don't have time to search everyone. They do it because they have a reason, even if its stupid. Ever since the terrorist shit these guys think that they are above everyone else. What do you want to do? They are gonna take our rights away whether we like it or not. Authority is so good at manipulation they make taking our rights away look like a good thing and than we demand it.

Yea even if its stupid.

I think you forgot to read that part. They can give whatever reason they want. Ive had bit of trouble before with them but im smart enough to know its not by starting shit with them thats gonna fix anything. There are other ways to beat these guys and its not by throwing a shit fit and putting it on youtube that your gonna solve anything. It takes thinkers to solve this war, not people who call others sheeps on forums cause they don't agree with them 100%.

It has nothing to do with being in complete agreement. It has to do with the "if you have nothing to hide" part. You are a sheep if you think like this. Or, as the Russians would say, 'робот!"

sorry if i'm willing to get thrown in jail for refusing to have my rights violated and standing by my morals and values

I have no problem with border patrol doing searches AT THE BORDER.

These searches are not at the border, there on roads that dont even connect to the border directly.

Posted by Nrg2Nfinit on May-20-2009 20:34:

apparently at the border.. if they really want to they can take appart your car and are not oblidged to re assemble it. Wierd

thats one reason i always decline a search if asked... they're going to rip your shit apart not find anything and then not give a fuck helping you get it back together

You can do what you want but you wont win anything that way. The smiles on there faces when they put you in jail will just piss you off even more. I rather just talk shit and degrade them while they are searching my car. After that I can drive off and give them a nice F*** You smile.
