If you're not on the pill, pulling out isn't always going to work-especially if the guy has precum.

Pill or snip it.

the end.

I don't mean to sound like a martyr here but taking the pill is not just a simple nonchalant solution. The girl has to be willing to allow her body's natural rhythm to be controlled by foreign substances. In addition to going against the natural way her body works, a girl also has to entertain the idea that her body will undergo fucked up, inconvenient repercussions: mood swings, anxiety, weight gain, depression, increased risk of breast cancer, etc. The list goes on.

Might be hard for new-age thinkers on here, but the idea of letting a pill control something as sacred as the cycle that creates life can cause a lot of mental distress. I'm not saying all women - this is just some speculation.

*Just like to make clear that my little discourse up there does not include women who are advised by their doctor to take the pill for reasons other than birth control (to stimulate a regular cycle, to aid in polycystic ovarian disorder, for acne, etc.) In such cases the woman, along with her doctor, will decide that the benefits of taking the pill outweigh the potential of suffering from side-effects.

Weird thing is, is that I have no problem of this nature with condoms (i.e. I don't have any "moral" issues with them, if you wanna call it that). I suppose it is the "temporariness" of using a condom as opposed to the long-term decision to take the birth control pill that makes me see things differently. This doesn't make much sense because the condom does the same thing as the pill, in that it unnaturally controls the other half of what it takes to create life. Perhaps because it has no long-term detrimental effects on the male... not sure.

Shame on you Mario. The Plan B pill is the most fucked up thing that a girl can put her body through. I will NEVER EVER take that shit again. I would rather have a baby than put my body through that again.
All physical and psychological aspects of it are horridly fucked up.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on May-20-2009 15:25:

Hahahahaha, you're one of those "miracle of life" people.

Not that you're not right or something. Plan B is not something to be taken lightly.

That are not side effects of the pill. That are side effects of being a girl.

Incorrect, douchebag.

Posted by chach on May-20-2009 15:41:

I'd rather just stay abstinent

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on May-20-2009 15:41:

A girlfriend and I had to drive through a fucking blizzard one morning just to make it to a pharm to get a Plan B. She didn't stop bleeding for 2 months.

Posted by squirrelly on May-20-2009 15:43:

were you using a condom, no condom, a condom and the pill or just the pill?

Posted by weymouth on May-20-2009 15:46:

As long as the woman keeps track of her fertility window and takes birth control while she is in a serious relationship there really isn't a lot to worry about.

The way I see it is that it is the guy's responsibility to wrap it up for casual encounters and if he isn't sure but it's a woman's responsibility to use birth control if they are in a relationship. As far as STDs, there has to be a point where you trust someone in a relationship but never trust casual sex, always wrap it up.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on May-20-2009 15:47:

A condom; no pill; condom came off at a very critical moment and we weren't up for taking chances.

Posted by squirrelly on May-20-2009 15:50:

I've never done plan B

i agree, she should take the pill as her responsibility but what about all those women who still get prego WITH the pill?

truth.

If you have a regular cycle, you can measure the temp in your twat which indicates when you're ovulating. I did that for a few months and had worry-free condomless sex. Then my eating/exercising habits changed and my period was late and I almost had a heart attack.
This is not so safe because even women who are super regular can experience a change in their cycle due to stress, eating habits, sleeping patterns etc.

Also, sperm can live in the franfran for up to 4 days

Both that and the shot really wrecked her. Though I don't think it makes a difference, I don't believe Slavs can actually reproduce with our species.

i always considered the shot..

Posted by squirrelly on May-20-2009 16:02:

People who get pregnant with the pill are A) not taking their pills at the same time every day or B) abnormal (for example, a girl I know got pregnant on the pill because she was too skinny)

I can vouch for it in that it did what it was supposed to, but it really fucked with her hormones and gave her awful cramps/dry periods/random bleeding. It was like one big, long, awful period. I almost ran out of bleach, too.

And these are all side effects that come with the warning they give you, so it's not as though it was completely unexpected. They also say that it affects different women differently of course, too, so you may have a totally different experience.

But in the end, it's just not economically viable. Unless you have insurance, the depo shot is like $90 every 3 months, whereas there are a lot of better, cheaper, (possibly) even more effeective contraceptive options out there.

You know, I think the reason everyone wants you to take it in the mouth is so we can be sure you and Krypton don't breed.
