i just hope the second stays in a similar vein to the first and dosnt get too carried away with the fight scenes.. making guys fly around on wires doing quadruple spinning birdkicks etc etc. as this really ruins martial arts movies for me. which is why i dont watch jet li movies.
Just watched Ip Man and I absolutely love it! The fight scenes are so bad ass, this is on my favorites list now!

since no one has mentioned
Cloud Vs Sephiroth Advent Children
hisashiburi da na Cloud
SICK
Has any of you guys watched crows zero and crows zero II?
Some really nice fighting scenes there and the storyline is actually pretty good. And to top it off the sequal is actually about as good as the first movie.
Couldn't actually find any good clip from youtube... But seriously check the movie out!
EDIT: And not really any of the hollywood wire bullshit.
I watched The Rebel yesterday and didn't think it was that great. Too man guns and the ending sucked.

Beat this.
Earlier someone posted a fight scene from Old Boy, which I have never seen but always hear it mentioned here and there. Recently got the chance to watch it. Holy crap. Not wanting to provide spoilers, but for those who have seen it, regarding the ending, do you think the hypnotist succeeded in doing what the protagonist (if you can call him that) asked her to do?

| Originally posted by [N]k|[Z] story of ricky [riki oh] i have this on DVD.. nice and gory flick from early 90's /late 80's [not sure tbh] well worth a watch, but dont expect miracles from the acting. i wouldnt call the any of the fight scenes amazing, but theyre decent enough. theyre not well coreographed kung fu fight scenes, more like fighting with arms and legs and heads being ripped off, smashed to bits etc etc etc |
RUN IT SON
