this program has got me so pissed. Weres the TA Hub? all these other hubs have a minimum amout of stff u can share. like 25GB, wtf? gay.

Yup SoulSeek is allright,Everyones going to differnet p2p sharing programs now so theres a little more trance on every one. If we could all go to one or two of the programs instead of spreading out over all of them it would be eiaser to find what we want. Or just try the Ta DC Hub.

This is the purpose of the TA HUB. Trance Centralised.

agreed. the TA direct connect hub will never be big enough. i need to have a program that has songs available in every genre...something like audiogalaxy would be nice. plus, with direct connect, in order to know the bitrate of the song, you have to know how long the track is. this is not good. some people are picky about the bitrates of their mp3s.

Also rockster, your not the only one who likes stuff OTHER than trance, there's bound to be hundreds of people on this board with other stuff. So it CAN replace audiogalaxy if people are willing to JOIN & SHARE.

iam joinin but iam not keen on sharing cos, i av quite alot of trance n sets n i av a slow 128kbps link, but if it helps replace ag n make it easy 2 download trance again, count me in, iam dl n signin up wen i get bk from school.

That DC + SoulSeek combo works great!!I even got a bunch of hits on friggin DJ Scud!!! Let's just hope that all the ex-AG users won't cause too much trouble for the original SS users.

Honestly I love the idea of the DC, I've already signed up but it's not the same. I mean with audiogalaxy it would know all of the tracks on the network. That means I would type in any song and it would come up. There was never one song on audiogalaxy that I couldnt find. With DC if people arnt online then you will never get that song. I think we should find a program with the closest characteristics of audiogalxy and use it in CONJUNCTION with DC.

That is true, I just downloaded a rock song for my dad, on the TA hub!

But there is one problem with DC, there are hundreds of public groups but hardly any of them say what music they are sharing. It is great for trance but limited in other respects.

It's not real replacement for AG, but...

E2k has the almost the same features as DC, and even more i think.
Multisource downloading, auto resuming, some kind of bandwidth
control...
Edonkey never was the best p2p for finding mp3's, but now all these
AG users will flood other p2p networks, i think Edonkey will grow...

DC is good, but lacks some features.
If only somone could set up E2k TA server for us?

BTW Edonkey developers are working on new, completely decentralised modern p2p network (E2k is already decentalised enough to cope with RIAA )
