lol. Nice!! Those pics were the perfect definition of an E puddle and I'm sure you will be able to get some funny ones at EDC also.

So the price went up for EDC? I was talking to someone and they said they bought there ticket on Ticket Master for $50 for Sat and also said VIP was $100 for Sat. I haven't made it to the web site to check yet, but that seems way too cheep.

Ticketmaster.com has Sat tickets for $65 but people on these threads aren't acknowledging that there are massive "Fees" that are attached to these tickets when purchased.

so that "cheap" $65 ticket then has a 10.90 surcharge and a 1.00 convenience fee attached which then makes it just the same as if you had purchased the grooveticket/edc.com one that is $70 with a $6.45 fee attached as well

there are places that sell hard tickets as well. I am buying a hard ticket at Dj Culture in Huntington Beach for $78.00 even cash just to avoid the lame e-puddles of buzzing e-tards that cirulate around the will call tent.

I still look forward to it though

that e puddle picture....that is just horrible. That shit makes edm look bad in the eyes of others and even for people like myself who are fans going out for a good time. I used to roll back in like 2002 and when i did we just acted chill in the club. This type of behavior belongs in underground parties that cater to this kinda stuff..not in a nightclub. Kids in buttterfly wings sitting in circles rubbing each others heads while they drool...that shit isnt what this music or scene is about. My verdict = give em the boot.

And I have to add that I am by no means racist when I say this (my boyfriend is Chinese and feels the same way) .... but without further ado. . . .

- The Washing Machine -

for some reason on the west coast, LA and OC mostly, but these older asian folk can be seen on the bay of SF as well....

Imagine two people your parents age popping x, sniffing k, or swigging a capful of g, then going toward the middle of the dancefloor-near a speaker- or off in a dark corner. Then the male will place arms or hands on shoulders of the woman or they will join hands at an arms length and proceed to shake themselves senseless to the beat in a washing machine motion. They look possesed if you ask me, and it is very disconcerting to people who at least try to hide their high and enjoy the music.

Needless to say once you experience the washingmachine you will never be the same again!
we have a core group in Chicago too, although most arent too old

Posted by JCIZZLE! on Jun-05-2009 05:47:

Good luck with that! Welcome to the most painful place to own a club in the entire planet.

But if you need credible promoters CHEMISTRY has pretty much worked for anyone worth a damn in this scene.

Let's just agree that "Asians" are the people who do the Washing Machine.

E-puddles are open for everyone, however.

Most of the time the 'candy kids' come without adult supervision. There have been a couple times that 16 year old and younger kids have come up to me with flushed faces asking for water because they 'don't have money.' It is to be expected at all ages raves.

I guess my sarcasm didn't come through well (stupid smiley face didn't do its job). Of course washing isn't only limited to one group of people.

i wonder how many of the people on this forum are weekend washers but remain silent on this thread.

Billy. Always Billy.

I only do the washing machine in the privacy of my own living room.
