Evens
Adebayor, Bellamy, Benjani
Caicedo, Jo
Robinho, Bojinov, Santa Cruz, Tevez
Given

4-2-3-1

This is what city will play next season when they realize they have a striker shortage and need to bring back Jo.

Pretty happy with celtic's transfer activity so far this window.

Brought in marc-antoine fortune who looks a big powerful lad so should complement our current strikers well who are pretty light weight. Also this landry n'guemo seems to be rated quite highly so he should sure up the midfield along with crosas and brown.

All we need now is a left back (supposed to be marek cech) and a solid central defender and I think we will do well against dinamo moscow.

Sam Ricketts of Hull City is due to join Bolton if he passes a medical. No ideas on the fee just yet. Pretty unsure on this move, I mean he's an international but we just signed a dickhead in Paul Robinson as cover for left back and our right back is one of our strongest players in the team, although he has a good cross so maybe Megson will try & play him at right wing when he doesn't sign anyone creative.

Add to that our kits suck. The away had promise. but no. look at it

Shit manager who disrespects the fans, shit kit. gah.

Not sure what sort of look they were going for with that kit =/

Noooooo my line-up is falling apart... They'd have to recall Caicedo, but now they've gone and sold Evens to the Blades.

yes I'm gonna protest by not buying either of this years kits. They're foul. Knowing the people at our club though they'll just blame poor sales on the recession and not the fact that they look like they were designed by Akiridot after a sip or two of DXM.

Is this the guy that was termed as having one of the hardest shots in Korean Football?

I dunno. I just hope he can learn english & fit in with us. To buy an english/british player of his reputed ability you want 8-10million, so it means you have to take gambles.

The Eto'o-Ibra deal is official. I don't know, i don't think that Ibra can preform in big matches the way Eto'o could. I think that this deal is better for Inter.

Also, Peter Crouch to Tottenham

Don't forget that Inter got Helb on the loan as well, which Barca will pay 70% of.

You know what; fuck Ibra. I think Inter got a good deal out of it.

Lorik Cana from Marseille to Sunderland. Now Sunderland is my favorite EPL team

yes

Eto'o + Hleb + 46 Million Euros = Ibrahimovic + Hleb + 46 Million Euros

You can see by eliminating the Hleb and 46 million euros part of the equation, there's an imbalance....

Posted by OurManFlint on Jul-28-2009 21:26:

I think I read that Hleb wasn't part of the Ibra-Eto'o deal, but was part of the Maxwell deal. Can't be sure though, but it doesn't look like any progress has been made on where Hleb will be playing next year.

For sure. Its a shame all those good players will be hanging their heads in shame when they come across just one good TEAM.

No worries though - you guys will continue drastically increasing your revenue through shirt sales so being a laughing stock wont be that hard to digest. Thats been the modern day Madrid philosophy even before this season anyway.

Hleb has returned to germany on loan, back to Stuttgart

I really think he should have gone to Inter. They are in need of creative midfielders, Hleb would have filled that void and would have been given a lot of playing time. I think Inter are going to be great next year. Milito-Eto'o partnership looks solid, their defense is solid(Lucio, Maicon, Cesar, etc.), what they need is more creative midfielders.
