I don't know about metal, but this is a good thread to spark my curiosity.

Sounds a lot more like deathcore than blackened death metal. Not too bad, but the vocals sound weak and could definitely do with improvement, the kick also sounds weak(idk, maybe compress it more go for for the more aggressive sound or eq it and get it to sound more cof style), although it might be just myspace compression.

The last track is definitely the best one, but I really hate the vocal style your going for. It sounds like your cupping your hands or something.

wow, Loving the feedback on this thread! You guys rock!

I've always thought, Is BFMV Metal or Metalcore? It's in the Emo section at JB HI-FI so i'm stumped.

I'm not the biggest fan but yeah I don't mind them.

Megadeth on the otherhand are due to release their new album, this is an obvious show of Megadeth's supremacy to Metallica!

lmfao, you're definitely the first person that ever said we sounded like death core.

I dunno, not really a big fan of death metal at all really.

For all that this is tranceaddict, and trance being a fusion of techno and ambient, there aren't many doom fans here.

This thread needs more shape of despair.

Posted by ChriSiZm on Jun-15-2009 04:17:

thanks dude, this is exactly what we need

Nice. That's pretty gothic-sounding stuff. I like some bands like 'The 3rd and The Mortal' and 'The Gathering' that had that atmospheric doom element.

Other, different doom and doom-related: Neurosis, A Storm Of Light and... Goatsnake.

Metal is without a doubt one of the worst music genres known to mankind.

At least you did before me. All other thrash metal PALES in comparison.

vibrasphere... meshuggah... I seem to have something with swedes. May be its their women.

Posted by iTranscendence on Aug-07-2009 03:01:

When I saw Tool on the Lateral_us tour, the special guest here was Meshuggah. Such a sick show, their drummer came out when Tool played triad and jammed out with danny carey.

Posted by SMC on Aug-07-2009 03:08:

What do you mean "all other thrash metal"? They're not exactly a thrash band.

In my opinion it's beginning with "Nothing" that it gets really interesting.
