yeah, all the time - he was a regular TA, even after he made it big.

Thoroughly nice guy and was always helpful. Spoke to him on a number of occasions.

I remember someone posted a thread called something like "Hoe to get the Deadmau5 delay?" and Joel posted up his exact settings, what plugin, with samples of what he did for things like "faxing Berlin".

No, noeone ripped him for his music at all - it was just a very small group of people kept posting loads of bullshit about him, like (fake) mega-diva requests when he plays and crap about him being rude to other more established people.

The situation was slightly excsaserbated by the fact he talks his mind (often without any filter) and he gave one interview in particular that was just looking for some dirt, and they took what he said and twisted out of context.

In the end he just got bored of those cvnts and he stopped posting about Nov. 2008 came back for a bit a couple of months later, but the same thing happened.

AFAIK, those peeps did out of spite and jealously.

ive only been around here since the start of the year..

so i dont know what happend prior to that..

but why did everyone start hating him and STILL hating him and STILL making threads about how much they hate him.. ?

Because he is successful, duhhh. But this thread is not about that, make a seperate thread if you want to talk about the backlash mau5 gets.

I have absolutely no idea

I just seem to be able to take in a lot of info in a short period and type fast. Somehow it hasn't affected my job or my producing/engineering work...

and yes, that 3 screen setup would be my ideal way to work.

Believe it or not, this was Mylo's (drop the pressure) studio which he did that entire album on ....

I was expecting the helmet to be an oversized mouse mask.

Well, I do have to admit that I wouldn't be too upset if my boss, co-workers, employees, or clients bought me one of those.

to answer the question: he fell into disflavour on the forums mostly because of his outlook on life and the scene (calling all djs ****s was pretty abrasive for most people), and his extreme cockiness etc...

the final straw for me at least was when he refused to allow marcus schossow into a gig where they shared a bill because of schossow's deadrat6 joke...
