Do you have a catalog# for the album it was released on then?

No, you misunderstood. Sasha made a remix of Remember (http://www.discogs.com/BT-Remember/release/18437) and some dolt online mislabelled it as "Remember Magnetic North", which is a completely seperate track.

its probably just the acapella laid over the original mix of magnetic north.

i've seen the acapella online before...try that acapellas4u.co.uk site maybe?

find out the original bpm of remember and lock it in on the acapella and stretch it in ableton to whatever bpm magnetic north is at.

then use the markus schulz mashup to figure out where he put each part of the acapella within the arrangment to recreate it.

i think the reason why the markus schulz one has wacking timing is because it was made before the days of ableton. he probably cut the vocal up at certain points (the vocal being faster or slower than mag north) and it goes out of tempo from time to time because of that.

I know which link you are talking about, I downloaded it from rapidshit. I own this release http://www.discogs.com/BT-Remember/release/18435 and it is that same mix.

What I did to get a copy of this was I just downloaded the HQ stream from youtube with downloadhelper, then used media-convert.com to change it from .flv to the audio format I wanted.

Damn that's a shame! If there's anyone skilled (and ambitious) enough to do an '09 refresh of this track, please share with the rest of us!

thats great and it just shows how music is dependant on your surroundings and overall mood. and of course the other way around
