i care about you. fuckin stop smoking. just smoke weed. it's a little better lol

Yeah I'm aware of the health risks...but a lot of the consequences can be attributed to genetics and other lifestyle choices. And other than smoking, I pretty much do all the right things, and I have a good family health history.

I also don't believe in premature aging. Crock of shit invented by the media. When you age, you age...period. It has more to do with genetics anyways.

Not that any of that jutifies smoking...but I know that the odds aren't really stacked against me.

sorry for caring whore

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jul-28-2009 16:48:

Haha no no, I appreciate it for sure. You're a sweetheart.

I love how people who play in the lottery are always like "I know the chances are slim but maybe it'll be me this time" while those who smoke say "I know the risks are there but it certainly won't be me."

Haha have fun with cancer. Lol I still can't believe the general nonchalant attitude about smoking, it makes me laugh.

actually the way i see it is that i have just as much of a chance as every other person playing lol

i don't play regularly btw, just sporatically if i think of it at the grocery store and there's no line at the lottery counter.

Rasta

Meh, I probably understand the risks and effects of smoking better than a lot of you. Family history is a greater determinant of getting cancer than smoking itself. Smoking just increases the chances. Add to that more unhealthy choices and the risk increases some more.

Anyhow, yes I'm serious about laser therapy. I don't really want to quit so I see no other way. I don't even care if it works by placebo effect...I'll do it if I have to, and everyone I know that's done it has had 100% success.

Posted by enydo on Jul-28-2009 17:09:

What's this laser therapy all about now? I may be way out of the loop, but I have no idea what you're talking about.

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on Jul-28-2009 17:12:

Laser thereapy = placebo treatment not based on medical science. It "works" for some people, although I'm not sure how well it will work on Jenny if she actually knows beforehand that it's nonsense.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Jul-28-2009 17:14:

They shine lasers into your eyes until you go blind, so you can't find your cigarettes when you need one.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jul-28-2009 17:15:

Think of it like accupuncture, but with LAZORZ PEW PEW!!

I think they only zap your hands.

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on Jul-28-2009 17:20:

And if you gain any weight after quitting smoking, you could undergo some laser treatment for weight loss.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jul-28-2009 17:26:

I actually lost weight when I quit smoking for a year. Instead of eating out of boredom when I'd normally be smoking I did other shit. That was when I first started going to the gym.

But yeah, laser therapy pretty much goes against all I've been taught about evidence-based medicine, lol.
