Timbaland vs. Tiesto pres. Timbesto - Snooker Face (feat. Lady Gaga)

You know, I'm actually sort of interested. A bit. I've gone from a 0% chance of buying to maybe 10%.

Well, at least this thread introduced me to Metric. That's the best a Tiesto album or mix has provided me since ISOS 2.

Haha, tight. Check out Broken Social Scene if you're into Metric. They're a bit more experimental, and Emily Haines certainly isn't the vocalist on most of their stuff, only some. Broken Social Scene is a folk band that swaps out members regularly and some make re-appearances. There's 2 core members I believe. They're kind of like the experimental neo-folk/psychadelic rock group Jackie-O Motherfucker.

here's a Broken Social Scene track with Emily

I actually quite liked Just Be. I also thought Parade of the athletes had some great tracks on to. I can't see this being any good.

Did he ever release an album with some of his collaborations? Gouryella, Kamaya painters etc...

The old collabs got released digitally in a bundle when BH went digital, but i'm not sure there is any such compilation of these oldies legitimately thrown together by BH in one CD.

Thanks. I think I have heard some of their tracks before since the band name does ring a bell. Shame I can't stream Youtube vids here, but I will have a listen once I get home.

Stars & Sons is a great song of theirs I recommend checking out.

After listening to the album ive come to the conclusion that "I Will Be Here" and "Louder Than Boom" are the only tracks i like.

Posted by weymouth on Oct-06-2009 17:57:

I would rather listen to basshunter than this new tiesto album

Posted by kramer333 on Oct-06-2009 19:24:

this is a terrible album.

Posted by Palladium on Oct-06-2009 20:57:

came out today at beatport and pretty surprised they didn't start selling at 2.49 each

i guess Tiesto has much enough money now

Posted by DarkMemoria on Oct-07-2009 01:04:

Its kind of unbelievable how bad this album is...

everything sounds ridiculously amateur and the mastering is rubbish.

Whoever is ghost-producing this stuff for Tiesto should be fired !

Posted by SuspicionVandit on Oct-07-2009 07:17:

Garbage album.

Posted by infiniteJEST on Oct-07-2009 09:23:

I like some of the vocals (you know, the parts that aren't Tiesto).

Posted by Lews on Oct-07-2009 21:45:

How the hell did Tom Ace produce this?

Posted by duduv54 on Oct-07-2009 21:47:

Listen to this :

Track produced by Tiesto : [[ LINK REMOVED ]]

DAMN this is, this time, REALLY the end!
I was hoping for something trancy by listening to the ontro...but no it turns in a total...crap? no...disaster! this is the end for sure and I'm sorry to say that Guetta is now better!

This world becomes completly crazy

Posted by Stories on Oct-07-2009 22:48:

Wow, I just bought this album, but this is commercial sold out crap.

Posted by Kris G on Oct-07-2009 23:44:

Sounds like it's not even worth a torrent, lulz.

Last track he did I liked was possibly Nyana. Why it didn't get a singles release is beyond me.

If you get bored, like me right now, turn on some good music and read the iTunes reviews of this album.

It's pretty damn funny.

And than write a bad review on Itunes and watch how you'll get flamed by Tiesto Zombies. Pretty funny.

Posted by RapidFire on Oct-10-2009 03:24:

what in the goddamn fuck is this?

the superstar djs are moving past the self-parody stage into uncharted levels of shit

Posted by Bren-F on Oct-10-2009 04:15:

I'm usually very open minded on most music - even the overly commercial stuff I will give some time to if it's at least done well.

But this album is fucking terrible, not even the reasonably respectable guest vocalists could save it.

And to think, this is the same guy who did this:

*sigh*

I stopped reading after some guy said this was Tiesto taking trance to a new level.

For fucks sake this isn't even trance.
