Crap, Ian, I just remembered that we had a whole conversation at SY revolving around the fact that you don't drink! How many did I coax you into anyway?? Hahah, so much for me being the responsible one.

Mikey, yes it DID go from Rez to Cowgirl back to Rez, and in fact I remember a very confused conversation about this with (I think) Jamie.
"This is Cowgirl right?"
"No, this isn't Cowgirl... I don't think it is anyway."
"Oh, I guess I haven't heard their stuff in a while..."
(about 30 seconds pass)
"Now it's Cowgirl."
"What? It's the same track."
"It is?"
(another 2 minutes pass)
"No, see, now it's back to the other one... never mind."

In hindsight, it probably should have been obvious to me that it was their "Rez-cowgirl" mix that they first put out over 9 years ago ("Everything, Everything") and have played like a thousand times at every event. But since I've never seen them live before, I guess it didn't click.


And so yeah, the concert was basically retarded. I wish they'd played 'til 12:30 but I'll take 90 minutes of quality over 6 hours of filler any day.


Crack dancing to the intro set was also much fun, for those who participated. For those who wussed out, you clearly need to practice and drink more.

11:28pm Dark & Long (Dark Train) - made my night!

Been waiting 7 years to see them again and they didn't disappoint. Stayed up front (and left) for the entire time, the intensity of the performance and the die hard fans losing their shit had me dancing with the biggest smile ever.

Enjoyed the live stuff Damian Lazarus was doing before, much more interesting than his dj sets.

Great running into so many people, it's good to know that a worthy event can bring everyone out and make for a smashing Tuesday night.

Wow.... I still dont think I can come up with words to describe the night. Epic, magical, a dream come true. The perfect birthday.

Crazy times in the parking lot. Got a little messy, wine and shots ftw! A great start to the night. Thanks to Aaron for hosting. We all had a blast








The show itself was incredible. The energy was something Ive never experienced before. As everyone said Born Slippy was one of the high lights of the nights - the balloons were magical. Rez/Cowgirl, Beautiful Burnout, and Two Months off all left me in awe. The encore was probably the highlight. The crazy lights going off and all of a sudden Jill, Jenn, and Michael attacked me with hugs wishing me a happy birthday - right at 12 on the dot. I broke down in tears. Best way to turn 22 ever!

And a special thanks to every single one of you who were apart of the night. You all made the night so special and I am so glad you were there to celebrate my birthday with me. This night will always be remembered.

Oh and to anyone who text me during the night - I somehow ended up erasing half my text message history and didnt get a lot of messages - sorry.

that was the craziest encore I have ever experienced PERIOD! I last saw em when I was your age, 22. Great way to end the night.

its not a picator of moi, i was tryin to get the pic of the setlist up here. once again tho, intoxication got the best of me. my mac and i failed to do what we were set to do. haha.

This night turned out quite alright! After the on-the-fence drama right before this event started (trying to sell the ticket etc.) I'm glad I got the opportunity to see these guys, even though I wasn't completely in the mood for a night out. Damian Lazarus was meh. He picked it up at the end of his set, but it was overall too underground and weird for me. I only enjoyed a select few parts of his set. He shouldn't be allowed to have access to a microphone while he's up there.
Underworld put on an incredible show and whoever was doing the lighting for this event deserves a mad props. I've been going to events in the KH since I was like 12 or 13 (obviously concerts as well as EDM events in the more recent years) and never have I seen the lights quite so impressive in there. Guv needs to make use of this for all access events in KH (*cough*trance at 6 am*cough*). I loved the pillars that looked like glowsticks lol. And HOLY MOSES you seriously cannot beat the atmosphere in there during Born Slippy. That was absolutely amazing. Great seeing everyone out having a fantastic time.
PS. That sparkly jacket was the shiet.

I am really glad more than anything that everyone who came really enjoyed this, and will remember it forever. To those who didn't show up well...
