it will be fun for some1 with some time on their hand to just draw the DJ list of the BEB, resolution, Sensation events of the last 4-5 years to see how many times each DJ got booked

I think BeB are doing a smart thing, have booking arrangements with the DJs for several events, that way they bring the cost down, and regardless if we are happy or not , the events are packed and every person who moaned on TA ends up going to the shows.

So less cost and same income = more profit

I agree on the fact that at BeB they need new artistic direction, some new blood to stir things up. I think also that they need to spend some money on production like common they can do a bit better than the usual rotating lights and the nasty light tubes hanging infront of the DJ booth (Sensation 2009).
They need young people with a vision, people who understand music, and are passionate.

Well it costs soo much because they're bringing Guetta and Armin, some of the best paid djs in the world. I think Gareth Emery, Marco V or Eddie Halliwell will cost less then armin..

Problem with Bal en Blanc is that they have become lazy in their booking and, even with lazy headliners, they could still make some very solid line-ups.

Example

Trance room

Some local dj
Infected Mushroom
Armin Van Buuren
Marco V
Eddie Halliwel
some local dj

House room

King Louis
sweedish house Mafia
David Guetta
Peter Rauhofer
Luciano (4h to close)

There, took me a whole 5 minutes to think of this line-up which would bring the maasses and some new faces into the line-up ...

I don't see anything new in this lineup , thats a typical BnB lineup, I suggest that they contact Circus promoters when they want to book trance DJs for instance.

I say King Louis books all trance events from now on! He has good taste and I know we wont get Armin 5 times this year that's for sure. If Armin comes, let him open for Insomnia with a 1 hour set please...

What do you guys think if Bal en Blanc would make a 2 nights event one night pure trance and the other night pure house? like this more people could get in loll

Posted by Cmdr on Sep-13-2009 00:15:

You might be on to something there... (2 nights for Bal en Blance... One Trance / One House).

But... there is the Rental *for the night*
And the Security *for the Night*
And the Sanitation *for the Night*

So those expenses are perhaps doubled over two nights.

Would mean shorter lines to the bathrooms though, and the vibe will be totally pure... Just like Tranceformers nights. Pure Trance, with a crowd that truly appreciates Trance.

TOTALLY!!!

REALLY appreciate what Circus and you all are doing with Tranceformers nights.

Man, Circus is really good:

1. Good decor and lighting
2. Bathrooms with HOT water, that are cleaned during the night!
3. Great staff... been to MANY places and the staff here rocks. No hassles, respect, pleasant and polite.
4. None of the staff POWER TRIPPING. No stuck-up DIVA bartenders.
5. GOOD VENTILATION
5. Sexy bartenders.
6. Wooden floors.
7. Strip poles.
8. Chill out room with cushioned seats.
9. Reasonable Prices

Did I forget anything?

MANY THANKS!!!

Don't know if it's possible... but here is a with for all ^Tranceformers* nights to start at 12 midnight. Start two hours earlier, and finish two hours earlier. More people would come. (And no, you don't *need* to have alcohol. As long as people are notified, they'll drink before they come... just as they do now.)
