How is it ugly? And grouping is much better than having 20 entries in the taskbar.

it looks like some college student coded the taskbar to make hs own "theme" and never finished it....
sorry...the xp/vista bar looks much cleaner n prettier

Windows 7 beta; kicks ass; Iam sure there will be better looking screenshots than mine cause my onboard graphics card blows ass. Past that I'm waiting for google OS!!!

No, it just means that you are averse to change. Something different. The only real visible changes are: the taskbar is about 75% transparent, the buttons are a little larger, and the there are no labels. Oh and the grouping is displayed a bit different than XP and Vista.

I have been on RTM (Final) for about a month. It runs great. Get it when you can.

Yeah, Win7 ftw. I've had it on my laptop for a couple of months now, and it's great. Fast, stable, looks good etc. Definitely going to buy it when my beta version runs out of time.
