I always liked Nate Dogg's voice.

Posted by lenazi on Sep-18-2009 17:59:

not his biggest track, but my favourite snoop one.

great beat and interesting lyrics...95 or 96 i'm not sure

Posted by lenazi on Sep-18-2009 18:13:

this is an "obscure" dpg release with crazy disses.

and one of the major "dis" tracks of the east vs west, both great songs even if i prefer the east coast rap from that era.

edit: most of the "west coats" youtubes seem pitched down like crazy...very weird.

i miss listening to hip hop, i really really do. It is beyond horrible these days.

Posted by Nostalgic on Sep-18-2009 20:25:

Classic east coast dark "hardcore" hip hop.

Posted by lenazi on Sep-18-2009 20:28:

i forgive you for all the bleep blop comments now, even if i prefer some of the mobb deep releases post 90's.

the older stuff is great too.

Posted by lenazi on Sep-18-2009 20:32:

essntial 90's

i tried to not post nas because it is an obvious choice. nas> almost anyone.

Those tracks were off Reasonable Doubt, Jay-z's first album and easily a classic hip hop album of the 90s. Don't judge him based on what he is now.

Posted by Nostalgic on Sep-18-2009 20:39:

Classic west-coast joint.

Posted by Slylee on Sep-18-2009 20:41:

hey what's the difference between a poser and jay?

nothing.

Posted by lenazi on Sep-18-2009 20:43:

jay z always was a well off black kid from the suburbs that rapped about things he knew nothing about.

props to him for building an empire on it, but if he had failed he wouldn't have had to sell crack. I always found his music meh and forced. Just my opinion of course, i'd hit beyonce with a shovel then fuck her corpse.
