Most of them got exterminated wholesale back in the 18th, 19th and half the 20th centuries, when the Olympics where on in 2000 they got rid of a lot of them out of places like Redfern and relocated them to towns.
Did wonders for the inner city property values

Actually just to clarify this slightly, Australians by and large don't really care where you come from or even for your ethnicity very much as long as you 'fit in' and aren't antisocial more than they are.
If you don't fit in, then you will be teased to death.

Don't listen to these drongos. It's all true.

Just like when in India someone tells you to turn up at 5pm for dinner, you rock up at 4pm and wait until 4am for them to finish their telemarketing and customer service support, then dance around listening to Goa and wishing you were Sachin Tendulkar.

True story bro. Hectic, fully sick muzzas.

So it's true in India and in Brazil. I heard it's also true in Djibouti.

Anyone care to confirm? Oh, and Mongolia.

and spinach savoury rolls OH YUM!! God bless this country and its delicious pies and rolls. I also love how people dip wedges into sweet chili and sour cream in Aus. So delish.

When I first moved to Aus a guy asked me if I wanted to come over for tea. I had never heard the term "tea" used for dinner, only afternoon tea so when I showed up with mini sandwhiches and mini cakes and he had dinner on the table I don't know which one of us was more confused

I suppose one could shag a sausage in one way or another...

You studied political science (i.e. Political sociology), right? But, yeah, I agree with you: sociology is way superior, both in methodology and results, to Intelligent Designed and all related quackery

If your first exposure to sociology was as bad as OP, I really couldn't blame anyone thinking that.

Fair enough, in this case, it's a tough one between sociology and political science

(Quick reminder: "Science" was a name coined rather late in the history of ideas to describe "natural philosophy" )
