I think Cryo and Diginut would be a good combination. Cryo is the most neutral person on this forum, but certain universally disliked members require a bit more of an aggressive stance. I trust Diginut to bring the pwn wisely.

moderating really doesn't have that much to do with what you do.. you don't have to know how to dj to delete threads etc...

I'm assuming each sub forum has had their own little thread about who they want.

That could be a good way of doing it. Everyone who wants to be a mod can throw their hat in and we'll just make a poll on each sub forum.

Poll stay open for a week. End of the week votes are tallied and kablamo, each forum has their mod. Or 1 mod between two if that suits better

So in other words you need a mod too?

Can people stop suggestion Cryo. He's already stated he hasn't got the time and doesnt visit here regularly enough so its a waste of a suggestion.

My suggestions would be Eric J and Jivebojingles for the production and music promotion forums. Neither kick off at people, and both visit here often.

exactly.. Although in fairness, there are so many candidates in the dj booth as IMO a lot of the guys in there are all pretty sensible, I actually don't know anyone that takes the piss in there. Boring perhaps, but you get good answers (creatively altered) for the same questions that pop up again and again.

Every few weeks a great thread surfaces. It's rare but it still happens.

Great this has been picked up.

I'd recommend Diginut, DJ Rann or Eric J. Honest people with quite a lot of production related knowledge from my perspective.

I actually wasn't expecting to see my name pop up in some of the recommendations. Thanks .

If Cryo doesn't want to, I would say Diginut and DJ RANN.

I think Eric J would be the best for the Production forum.

I can't think of anyone who dislikes him. It's probably best to go with someone who is both responsible and never polarizing.

About time. This section and this site has changed so much since i joined. The enjoyment of browsing and reading it slowly disappeared.
I hope a new active moderator would change the pleassure of posting tracks and sets again. I know i used to enjoy it allot in the golden days.

True (not speaking for Rann here, just me). I recommended myself to Swamper some time ago because things where way out of hand at the time. I think however, there are tons of people around here more suited than me for this job. I love to abuse powers just for the sake of fun plus I don't have that much time on my hands anymore as I used to. It's probably still enough time to keep the production & dj-ing forums clean but a lot of people are around way more often.

I'd be really glad if you were one of the mods, I don't really want a DJ forum person who I don't know to be modding the production studio...
