No way! To me, that would completely defeat the purpose of visiting a country. I am really, really looking forward to visiting Prekestolen and doing a fjord cruise. I will be there mid-year, probably around August. Any other time of year would be too cold for my weak Australian bones.

Nice

How could you want to go to New Zealand and not Australia? New Zealand is like a distant retarded cousin that we're ashamed of.

How can i take a country that has given the world the horror that is Fosters and the eternal argument over which is best, ford or holden (pointless argument since it obvious that they are both horrible...its like arguing which is best, brain or testicle cancer...you dont really want to be stuck with either of those) seriously
Perhaps i would reconsider if i find a few australian wines that i liked so that i could go around on a wine drive Thats the only reason i would visit cali as well. Nothing else interest me there or for that matter the whole country, but they do make some interesting wine though.

That is an incredibly strange thing to say. That's like me saying "I'd love to come to Slovenia to try the Funterc, but nothing else really interests me." My point being that you've singled out an insignificant part of an undeniably huge place and disregarded everything else.

USA/Canada - Not keen on living there but plenty of places to check out, plus a major reason is I'd love to meet up with various "friends" I've been in contact with through forums. TA, Anjuna etc.
Greece - Must go to Santorini. I think I will love that place. My best mate is Greek so no doubt we'll be heading there some time in the near future.
Southern Africa (Kenya etc) for a safari. Always wanted to spend a couple of weeks looking for lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos and all the others.
Spain/Portugal - Renting a car and driving along the coast would be wicked fun, plus their people are fantastic and women are hot. Win.
Belgrade, Serbia - EXIT festival.
Croatia - No explanation needed
France - Tour de France and while following it, enjoying the local wines and cuisine.

In 2010 (roughly in this order), I'm doing: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, USA, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Czech Republic, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia and probably a few others I have forgotten.

I'm sure I'll do something worth being arrested for in at least one of those countries.

I hate you.
I might be in Croatia in August. PM me if you're passing by then.

lol sounds like my dad and his wife.

i told my dad recently that if he had a garage sale on just the stuff in his guest bedroom alone, they'd make like 5k easily. she's a compulsive buyer and he's too nice to put his foot down.

They just repeated that episode last Friday here in Holland.

That half marathon seems like a real challenge indeed, maybe that's why I really want to do it some day.
