Just go about your life and the right one will come along. Don't be lazy though... and don't worry about being cheesy. If you think a girl is beautiful - tell her. The whole "game playing" ordeal usually only works for short-term flings. Just don't be too forward in the beginning - this is where most ppl screw up.

It's hard to find the right balance between not enough, just enough, and too much attention to show someone you are interested in them. Figure that shit out and you will be fine.

i don't really know what to tell you other than she probably did you a favor. i mean it sucks what she went through, but is she going to therapy or on meds or anything?

from what i gather, as long as a manic is taking meds and avoiding things like alcohol and weed, they should be fine. the problem is that most of them dont.

my boss' mom is a severe manic and she goes through episodes that last months and it's because she'll drink wine or take valiums and she's not supposed to at all. my boss said when she's not drinking or taking valiums, and she's on her regular meds for manic, she's fine and a completely normal person.


anyway i'm sure your recent girl was fun and had her cool moments, but i mean is this someone you want to be the mother of your kids and spend the rest of your life with? i'm guessing the answer is no. so i would just move on. millions of other normal girls out there with their shit together. you'll find one

yea number is still the same. and yea we're definitely doing this. a girlfriend of mine recently threw this boat party because she knows this guy and it was a blast. it's a 57 foot hattaras i think. it's not a mega yacht or anything but it's pretty damn big and nice and the guy who lives on it is really cool. he just charters it to friends and stuff for extra cash. me and nicole got his card that day and told him we'd like to do something in march and he was like, "yea sure let me know". we all paid $60 and brought a bottle of liquor and he drove us around the intercoastal in miami all day, it was so much fun. well except for the part when the coast guard came up to the boat and hopped on and started looking around lol

lol yea i'm wearing jeans and a long sleeved shirt today too. i'm right on the beach so it's windy as hell on top of being in the low 70s. that's chilly to me, i dont even keep my AC below 75.

so i've heard/read - i'll be a last minute jumper so won't get the exact details as to where when i'll be there but will keep it in mind. have some stuff to plan a head of it (beijing to japan and machu picchu to buenos aires to rio) but will keep wmc in the forecast. if i do make my way, will be away from sobe towards something a bit less crowded maybe up north by you. where does it sail out of?

as for 70s being cold - psh I'm waiting for snow covered mountains, yes the cold and wet stuff that doesn't sit on a mirror

From the way you describe it she's making it sound like her past is the reason for you two breaking up? An excuse, a cry for sympathy or "playing the victim" all seem plausible. Everyone has issues but if she's announcing this to you only now - and using it as a crutch in her life - then it's not your job to stick around and "fix" her.

However, I guess there's really no perfect time for her to tell you about what happened - maybe she feels she's damaged goods and wanted to see your reaction. If you run, it doesn't matter (since she broke up with you) - but - if you decide to still try & work things out then she feels more secure with you knowing this about her. Stick to your boundaries though, you have your own life to live too.

yea i've been cutting my doses of TA as well lately. all the alts and bullshit are starting to really annoy me. can't trust anyone around here any more.
