At 6 foot 2, I'm tall enough to lol at the shorties, avoid (some) obstacles to the face, yet still able to jump a bit to high-five Fledz.

Somebody else here said that the other day too, that they thought I was shorter.

It must be my tiny internet Johnson

Posted by Schadenfreude on Nov-19-2009 09:52:

5'10 for a korean is pretty tall.

i saw a few guys at the gym in sk who were much taller than me, but it was rare. The funny thing is that they still hid in the corner in the showers.

sorry nate

Great, so everyone thought I was a shortass?

Posted by Moongoose on Nov-19-2009 11:10:

And then suddenly the COR fell silent when Sushi decided to live up to the "Tall people are ****s" theory and get revenge for people thinking that he was short and started banning everyb

Posted by Moral Hazard on Nov-19-2009 12:26:

I have very little reservation about genetically modified foods, as they generally allow for greater yields with fewer energy inputs and the growing of crops in areas where they could not have been previously grown. That said, these things have to be taken on a case by case basis as "geneticly modified" is a pretty huge umbrella term.

Will try to find more convincing stuff for Mr PKC
As for Mongoose, nice video but I will attempt to destroy it when I get a chance.

For anyone who does know what I'm talking about, what do you think? Most of Europe has forced the food companies to label them or ban them altogether. That leaves Canadians and Americans to be the guinea pigs for this stuff. For some reason we keep loosing everytime we try and pass the law which would force the companies to label GMO's.

Do you eat bananas? If so, you can quit already. Oranges too.

Oh and learn the difference. It is LOSING not LOOSING.

Where did you come up with this theory that bananas and oranges are genetically modified?

Oh and thank you for pointing out the spelling..

what a surprise to see TAs newest conspiracy theorist on the bandwagon!

Posted by Dj Nacht on Nov-19-2009 22:18:

Shouldn't concider this a conspiracy theory. There is no denying that corporations like Monsanto are out to make as much money as they can. They don't care about the effects their products have on health or the environment. Its up to the FDA to check this out and unfortunately Monsanto has them by the balls. Doesn't take much research to realise that Monsanto has been one major fuk up since they started.

Yea but there's no reason to then lump all corporations into the same basket. They are all businesses and work to make a profit, but they aren't all money hungry demons.

Not lumping them together, only Monsanto. They have such a bad history which is normal in my books except when they are controlling the food supply.

Bananas and oranges have been GMOs for YEARS. The original crop of bananas that used to be eaten, were similar to plantains in size. The bananas we eat today, are much larger. I can't find the stuff I read a year or two ago atm, but once I do I will cite it.

Monsanto needs to die. They are a corporation that is destroying the US farming industry by asserting patents on everything, criminally contaminating crops to say that farmers are screwing them over by "stealing" their stuff.

+1 and you are are right about bananas and oranges. Those were early modifications that were mostly selective breeding, but over the centuries have left bananas genetically weak.

Not really the same league as splicing arachnid genes with wheat and corn to give them a longer shelf life.
