^ hahaha thanks!
maybe it feels like a massage or something to him.
I told you all and no one believed me until I told people to talk to him at the face opening! He did my birthday at the Delancy a few years ago. He is a fixture in the NY D&S scene too. I kind of gave someone a verbal lashing for being so closed minded about him. Seriously, everyone has their own thing, it isn't a big deal.
Wednesday was a really great night, had so much fun! I haven't heard much mention of Jason here. His set was really great, really. I was on the mez walking to the front to hear the gallery and back to the window to hear the main, hard to pick rooms because it was all so good and I'm kind of difficult when it comes to trance.
And club owners cool with him laying around? I can see someone tripping over him in the dark and going face first in to the bar counter.
Somebody wanted to be the doctor, he said, somebody wanted to be the carpenter, and I would want to be the carpet.
I salute you, Carpet Man!
I wrote a long ass review but accidentally Xed out and lost it.
The condensed version...
Hell of a night.
I really love Rebel as a venue, and hope to see more nights like this get booked there in the near future.
Musically, everyone I heard was great. I was upstairs for most of the night though, so mostly heard Jason, Keryn and Dani who killed it. I did hear quite a bit of Sean in the main room, and he played some great stuff as well.

Or maybe he's standing on top of Giorgio the Walking Carpet.
We should file a class action lawsuit against Carpet Boy and seek reimbursement for all the drinks he made us spill

Will post a tl as soon as I can (at my Grandma's rocking an iphone at the moment) plus I'm pretty sure I managed to record Eco and my sets as well. Big shout out to Greenhaven (super nice guys) and Rai who both rocked the gallery proper! |
What a great night to start the thanksgiving weekend...
Was great to meet Keryn in person, you guys rocked it out upstairs, reminded me of time spent in the minimal/techy clubs in Paris, Jollins also delivered an amazing set, didn't really know what to expect but was very surprised and happy.
The performance stage reminded me of my time at Trance Energy back in March when I saw Patterson on the Future Stage! packed and hot.
Nick and I had a great time opening the night up in the gallery, the elevated booth definitely was a plus. I was surprised to see how many people the booth could handle especially when brad (great finally meeting you) and eco went on.
It was great to see many familiar faces gathered for this one night, so thanks for everyone who helped organize it.
Tom Colontonio and Simon Patterson TL anyone?

I had such a blast playing w Keryn upstairs!!! We played til 1:30 so I missed a bunch of people's sets downstairs but when I ventured down there I saw Marcello absolutely KILLING it! Only hung out in the main room downstairs for a min but then had to leave in order to help cook a big bird
Thanks to everyone from massive for having me play!! It was a sikkkkk time
ROFL Giorgio just sent me a message and thanked me for kicking him.
He may be coming down to Santos party house tonight and also to Rebel on 12/19 so you guys can have your fun with him then now that you know the deal. He is looking forward to it...trust me hahahaha
First, thanks to Massive for putting on such a successful party and allowing me to be a part of it! Taking over the entire club is a huge undertaking and I really think you guys pulled it off very well! I was upstairs most of the night, which filled up nicely and had a great vibe going. I can't tell you how much fun Dani and I had spinning, so much fun! Jason came on and played a killer set as always.
Ventured downstairs a couple times and seemed like everyone was having a great time. The highlight for me was watching Sean Tyas trip over the carpet. Sorry but it was hilarious. Honestly though, could that guy maybe find a more convenient place for his gigantic carpet aside from right under the bar. I really don't get why he is even allowed in clubs with that.

lol the carpet guy was the most bizarre thing evar lol... NY is a pretty cool place I see, cant wait till I can visit there on NYE
One of the best events I have ever been to. Simon ripped it up all night. Anyone have/working on his set list? I saw the carpet buy at the bar, kicked it thinking it was a rolled up carpet or something, than kept stepping on it and jumping. Now I kinda regret it knowing that he probably gets turned on by it.
