If he can play his way even though he's not closing, I'm fine with that. I just hope he doesn't hold back despite what others tell him is OK.

F'n #&*! - just learned that our babysitter cancelled because she has a friend coming in from out of town, so all her plans for the weekend have changed now and isn't available Sat night.

I still might be able to go, but I'd prob need to find a ride (I live right near I-10/La Ciengo Blvd/Venice Blvd/Washington Blvd - a minute or two drive off I10 & Robertson or La Cienega Exits - 10 secs off of Venice or Washington Blvd). Michelle might go visit her sister Saturday/Sat night now and would take Devin with her, which would leave me free. Just w/o a vehicle.

This sucks.

if you can get a ride there i can drop you back off. i'll probably take josh and jess to the airport after the club and can take you then. let me know

Well, that's usually the more difficult thing to get, so I know I have that covered at least hehe.

If I can find a ride there and just make sure everything is cool with Michelle and her plans, then I'll take ya up on the offer.

I'll try to have a final answer tomorrow night at the latest. Prefer to know what I'm doing by then.

Bleh, the timing belt in our car just gave out. FML.

Waiting on AAA to get it towed. Have a friend who can install a new one for us...hopefully he's available to do it tomorrow. Was scheduled to replace it next weekend, oddly enough. My luck! If we get it fixed tomorrow, shouldn't deter any plans!

But, still, FML! Shit always happens that messes up my plans. Hehe.

Well, there was actually hope tonight of another babysitter, so we could both go.

But we'd have to drive Devin to Orange County....which we can't do unless we get the car fixed, hehe.

Even if not, if Michelle is stuck at home tomorrow night because she has no car, it'd be wrong for me just to take off. When we go out on our own due to no babysitter, we try to be as fair as possible with each other.

Got ahold of our friend. He thinks it might be the alternator belt. One is being picked up now. Either way, don't care what belt it is. Just hope he can fix it tomorrow.

Well, if it's just the serpentine belt, it shouldn't be hard for our friend to fix.

I thought he had looked at the car, but they just got him on the phone and figured out which belt it was over it. Right now the car and a new belt is at Michelle's mom's house. The big question is will our friend get off of work in time tomorrow to get over there and try to fix it before it gets late. He's not sure yet. We might have to wait until Sunday for him to fix it, though.

FML.
