I would feel kinda bad if his wife was devastated on account of me setting things in motion. If the guy wasn't a public official with the power to effect my wallet though, I'd totally let it slide. Stay tuned next week people |
don't forget that blackmail is illegal and could very well cause the opposite effect and blow up in your face

It's unlikely to affect the Senate stuff - a Senator shamed is more likely to acquiesce to party leadership and not draw attention, to be honest. So if it is Ben Nelson, I definitely vote for public shaming - that'll get him to stop introducing anti-abortion amendments to kill health care reform! |

It could be, but then if the pics are of him in your friends place...well it wont be too hard to find out who leaked them
Also, about time someone got some dirt on a democrat again, lately all ive been hearing is terrible stuff about republicans
And if its a blue god, go ahead, all they are doing is obstructing anyway, and if hes a progressive...well hes a progressive with an affair, that like a supermodel on cocaine, you dont talk about it in public but everyone knows youre doing it anyway.

| Originally posted by The17sss Alright. Put your thinking caps on. What sort of creative ideas would you suggest, given the situation that is about to present itself to me next weekend? Here's the deal: Went to dinner tonight with my wife, a business client who's become a really good friend over time, and his girlfriend who we will call "Tanya". Tanya lives 3 streets away from me in my neighborhood. Her roomate, "Allison", is from some super rich family in another state. Her family is tied into the politics of that state. Tanya can't stand her roomate, who's basically a gold digging pretentious bitch. So Tanya tells us tonight that her roomate Allison is having one of the Senators from her state flying in to Charlotte next weekend for a weekend fuck-fest. She met him at a wine tasting over Thanksgiving weekend when she was back home. The Senator is a Democrat, and he's married. He will be staying at their house because he doesn't want to get a hotel and leave a paper trail. I looked at his website tonight, and the scumbag has lovely photos of his wife/family on there to go along with his "family values and dignity" image he portrays. Next Saturday, Tanya is going to have my wife and I come over and throw a little dinner party... the Senator will be there, and evidently believes his identity is a secret, and is going to be incognito; he'll have no idea that we know who he really is. Photos will be taken... I can guarantee you that! So............................... what would you do if you were me? |

Well it's not your business to interfere, no matter how morally repugnant you find the situation. Unless you really feel it's your obligation to say something, and you've considered how it will affect everyone involved and; therefore, deemed the best course of action as ratting him out - then by all means go for it.
My friend has a sign in her kitchen with the tenets of cleaning up after oneself (she lives with room mates), and one of them states that "If it isn't your business, don't ask or tell."
He's a state senator from the south?
Hang him. Fuck the south, democrat or republican you all need a little exposure to the "hey they are human" side of things. The more the merrier.
Also southern democrats dont play for our team anyways.
Question though, would you have made a thread about this, let alone consider it if he had been a republican?

I dont give a shit unless he is from Washington btw, I say do it and post he pics on TA first so we can get quoted on CNN and Fox News.
So he's only a state senator, not a US senator?

Also, insist on addressing him only as 'Senator Palpatine'.
No he's a US senator... My fault. I meant to clarify that; he's just FROM a western state.

That rules out California too. I'm going to go ahead and guess that it is Max Baucus.
