I would feel kinda bad if his wife was devastated on account of me setting things in motion. If the guy wasn't a public official with the power to effect my wallet though, I'd totally let it slide. Stay tuned next week people

If there were a way to let her know without having her find out on CNN, I'd vote for that.

It's unlikely to affect the Senate stuff - a Senator shamed is more likely to acquiesce to party leadership and not draw attention, to be honest. So if it is Ben Nelson, I definitely vote for public shaming - that'll get him to stop introducing anti-abortion amendments to kill health care reform!

don't forget that blackmail is illegal and could very well cause the opposite effect and blow up in your face

lol i can't believe you're still supporting that leviathan. but yeah- it can be done discreetly. Although, peace out on the cash... which is basically the only real motivating factor. I guess selling them to TMZ or something could be done anonymously right?

yeah... I definitely won't go the blackmail route. I actually think when the moment of truth arrives, I won't have the testicles to do something like that. You may not be able to tell from my TA postings, but I like to stay as far from the spotlight as possible in real life.

It could be, but then if the pics are of him in your friends place...well it wont be too hard to find out who leaked them

Also, about time someone got some dirt on a democrat again, lately all ive been hearing is terrible stuff about republicans And if its a blue god, go ahead, all they are doing is obstructing anyway, and if hes a progressive...well hes a progressive with an affair, that like a supermodel on cocaine, you dont talk about it in public but everyone knows youre doing it anyway.

Alright. Put your thinking caps on. What sort of creative ideas would you suggest, given the situation that is about to present itself to me next weekend?

Here's the deal: Went to dinner tonight with my wife, a business client who's become a really good friend over time, and his girlfriend who we will call "Tanya". Tanya lives 3 streets away from me in my neighborhood. Her roomate, "Allison", is from some super rich family in another state. Her family is tied into the politics of that state. Tanya can't stand her roomate, who's basically a gold digging pretentious bitch.

So Tanya tells us tonight that her roomate Allison is having one of the Senators from her state flying in to Charlotte next weekend for a weekend fuck-fest. She met him at a wine tasting over Thanksgiving weekend when she was back home. The Senator is a Democrat, and he's married. He will be staying at their house because he doesn't want to get a hotel and leave a paper trail. I looked at his website tonight, and the scumbag has lovely photos of his wife/family on there to go along with his "family values and dignity" image he portrays. Next Saturday, Tanya is going to have my wife and I come over and throw a little dinner party... the Senator will be there, and evidently believes his identity is a secret, and is going to be incognito; he'll have no idea that we know who he really is. Photos will be taken... I can guarantee you that!

So............................... what would you do if you were me?

Since he is a Republican, he will prolly get drunk & end up hitting on you.

haven't heard anything about Democrats lately? Damn liberal media! lol... Louisasa Congressman William "cold cash" Jefferson just got 13 years in prison for corruption... the other day $6 million of stimulus bill money was found out to have gone to the firm of Mark Penn, Hillary's public relations/pollster. By sheer coincidence, she owed him money. And, yesterday, it was uncovered that Senator Max Baucus gave his secret lover Melodee Hanes (who was on his staff) an inexplicable $14K raise, and used taxpayer money to take her on multiple overseas trips. It's happening regularly, but it doesn't get reported by the lapdog media like when a Republican fucks up.

Well it's not your business to interfere, no matter how morally repugnant you find the situation. Unless you really feel it's your obligation to say something, and you've considered how it will affect everyone involved and; therefore, deemed the best course of action as ratting him out - then by all means go for it.

My friend has a sign in her kitchen with the tenets of cleaning up after oneself (she lives with room mates), and one of them states that "If it isn't your business, don't ask or tell."

He's a state senator from the south?

Hang him. Fuck the south, democrat or republican you all need a little exposure to the "hey they are human" side of things. The more the merrier.

Also southern democrats dont play for our team anyways.

Posted by Joss Weatherby on Dec-12-2009 19:06:

Question though, would you have made a thread about this, let alone consider it if he had been a republican?

he's a state senator from the West... he's just flying to the South to get his freak on. If it were a Republican would I do it? Probably.... I'm pretty disappointed with a large portion of them too.

I dont give a shit unless he is from Washington btw, I say do it and post he pics on TA first so we can get quoted on CNN and Fox News.

Posted by UWM on Dec-12-2009 20:19:

So he's only a state senator, not a US senator?

Also, insist on addressing him only as 'Senator Palpatine'.

No he's a US senator... My fault. I meant to clarify that; he's just FROM a western state.

That rules out California too. I'm going to go ahead and guess that it is Max Baucus.
