Why?

because you don't seem to understand that words have synonyms. A monitor can be a speaker when used for monitoring.

Not spam, but you are clearly trying to get under people's skins. I think everybody would appreciate it if you would just tone it down a little with the swearing, caps, exclamation marks, "O RLY" pictures, and general derangement.

For the record, a studio monitor is a combination of a high-quality amp and a speaker that's tuned for a flat frequency response (as opposed to typical consumer speakers which tend to exaggerate some bands). You can call it a "speaker" if you want, it doesn't have to be one or the other, but the industry calls it a studio monitor, simple as that.

A "Mac" is still a "computer", just a very specific kind of computer, and distinctly different from other types of computers (for better or for worse). I don't see anybody getting upset over people using the former term ("how dare you call it a Mac, it's just a computer!!"). Get over it, seriously.

Now if this was true all ''monitors'' would sound the same. It is the spikes and differences in frequencies that make one speaker sound different then the other. They are never ''really'' flat. Ever. There is also some ''high end monitors'' that sound like ass. And they are not flat either. Makes you wonder. Do people buy these?

Oh don't get it twisted. A mac is a brand of computer. A monitor is a euphemism. A marketing word that makes people feel important and more willing to part with large chunks of money so they can do the big super technical ''monitoring''. For trance music just get a good pair of speakers and spend the money on the shit that will make a difference. like for example a pro one synthi. You can buy that pop it into the soundcard with a cheap cable (it's a soundcard not an ''audio interface'' and hold on what is the other one? ''an analog to digital converter'' whoop dee fuckin doo. Spooky language. makes people pay stupid amounts of money for something CHEAP to make.

So my genuine advise is:

A
**** all the high fidelity audiophile schemes that have creeped into the pro audio industry. Leave all that for the stupid people.

B
Get a pro one synthi without getting ripped off. That can be a trip. Not easy. But it can be done

C
Plug that mother****** right into he soundcard input with a cheap cable (not a cable designed to rip-off the stupid people who think there is a difference)

D make some cool ass leads.

You can make a lead and double it up and have it sound like yazoo yes I know don't you know I am never gonna let you go! Don't go!

Here is what this sounds like:

http://www.unease.se/mp3/Unease-Dont_Go_replica.mp3

That is if you got brain in your head. If not go spend all your money on stuff like ''reference monitors'' ''analog to digital converters'' foam for the walls and whatever. I am just keeping it real here.

Yes, fine. And a "cafe" is a euphemism for "restaurant" which is in turn a euphemism for "store". "SUV" is a euphemism for "car", and "car" is a euphemism for "motor vehicle", and "motor vehicle" is a euphemism for "thing that moves and you sit on it and it moves when you sit on it." We get it. We don't care.

Maybe you should start a blog if you're so passionate about it; most people here, however, are looking for actual information and not incoherent screeds. Let it go. That's not a request.

Back on topic, folks.

Did you listen to that yazzo lead? It sounds good on any speaker opps I meant to say ''monitor''.

Posted by RichieV on Dec-13-2009 22:31:

it sounds pretty awful over here. Perhaps your inexperience is making you a little ignorant.

Posted by Existo22 on Dec-13-2009 23:03:

Ok the experience is talking here. The lead is pretty good. But... what have you put out that tops this?
Go ahead I'll wait...

Posted by RichieV on Dec-13-2009 23:37:

sadly every thing i've done sounded better than that. Perhaps you should stop trolling and start not sucking ?

Posted by Existo22 on Dec-13-2009 23:53:

Lets hear then come on...
Bring it on

bassline could use some work, synth can be tweaked to be "fuller" as well.
