puts my 2010 plans into 'shitness' though; 4 weeks in spain (2 at a time) and 2-3 weeks in canada eh.

For me 2-3 weeks is more than enough time to vacation. After that I've had my fill of the tourist life and I'm ready to return to work. Can't Imagine doing an entire year of it. If you're traveling to other countries it takes a while to recuperate and appreciate all that you've experienced. Well, to each its own, enjoy.

After a couple of weeks without working, I don't know what to do with myself. On the extended trips I've been on, I get itchy to come back... not because I'm not enjoying where I am, but I don't like the feeling of not being plugged in to things from my home base of operation.
