when you go out on a friday night, have drinks, then end up at your neighbour's place drinking till 6 am when you really went to tell them to put the music down so you could sleep at 2 but then wake up with a hangover at 1130am and it doesnt leave you till about 5pm no matter what you try to do.

I had one of those!!
The first vhs flick I ever watched was in the 80s and was "Beetlecjuice". Hilarious.
also of COURSE it was all about NES...unbeatable for back then. I used to play Contra 2 w my uncle (dual controllers) w the 10 life passcode. The one everyone knows...I used to even have a subscription to Nintendo Power mag...man I was a geek...
anyone remember this:
I also still have my Original Gameboy (not the colour, the original grey), still runs like brand new too.

When you remember that AM680 CFTR was the Hot station, and the only one playing the good stuff in Toronto, because FM was virtually non-existent.

They were even better when they were 3.25$
I still had allowance left for the week after buying a pack.

+1
I used to buy a pack from the indian guy at the sunoco station on my way to school every other morning.
I was 15 yrs old and at that time the large pack costed less than $3.50...
The guy used to say in his indian accent:
- "are you 19"?
- "yup!"
- "Do you have ID"?
- "nope!"
Then he'd proceed to ring in the pack of butts anyway, and i'd go on my merry way to school hackin butts... that guy rocked!

for some odd reason i always keep thinking 2.75 around 2000/2001...maybe it was 3.75? I had just moved to canada around then and went "oh when you convert it's about the same price as cigs back home" (that would make it 2.75)
probably selective store prices? like how nowadays I still buy for $8 from one store here but anywhere else I go it's $9.10+
