| Originally posted by Orko I don't you can call this a revival. Most of those DJ's are here on a 1-2 year cycle anyways, with some new additions. I think their cycles are just coinciding with one another, and it looks like a trend. With that being said, unless we actually support places like Vola, don't count on that many new acts, and for this to continue through the rest of the year. |

We have 3 events planned for 2010 so far and a bunch more in planning, so keep your eyes peeled to the forums for updated news. |

| Originally posted by The Highroller I think that the support in your event threads indicates moving shop to Toronto is a good business move for your company, but it's going to take a lot more than just you to start a Trance revival in Toronto. Also, recent business failures have shown that a trance scene in Toronto cannot be supported. There is a very small group of people that will go to see lesser known trance DJs at any other club but the Guvernment. I am very doubtful that there will be a revival. Trance has stagnated for quite a few years now, and it continues to slowly move off the radar. |

I don't think it's a complete trance revival. I somewhat agree with Bobby and Graham. I think the trance community in T.O lacks in numbers. But if places like Vola can keep bringing in the artists then I'm pretty sure ppl will get out. I am asking a lot of my friends who listen to trance to come down from outside of Toronto for Jan 22nd so ppl need to spread the word
and true party ppl will come.
I'm definitely very excited for S&T and Ronski and most definitely Alex MORPH at Guv
and I highly doubt ASOT 450 will be in Toronto
but wishful thinking is good
on a side note...Above & Beyond were on way too late, 5am at Resolution, there was hardly any energy left in the crowd....and i have to agree with Navid a lot of the Centre emptied out mainly bc they didn't start their set with energetic tracks..... even I decided to leave at 6am
and I mainly went to this party for A&B....PVD was all over the place..he played hard and fast fist pumpin ish but only a token 6 good tracks....oh the VISUALS THE BEST AT A MTL MASSIVE EVER EVER EVER ...GOOD JOB BEB

c'est fini!

Strangely enough, I've been listening to a lot of trance lately. I can't stand it at after parties, but at home and on my way to work it's enjoyable.
22 Jan: Stoneface & Terminal and Ronski Speed at Vola Lounge
^^ I think I might make it out to this, if it doesn't interfere with any of my best friend's birthday plans

I'm sure they'll come here for trance
Haven't been out in Toronto in forever, Stoneface & Terminal / Ronski Speed seems VERY appealing !

I wouldn't mind having Sean tyas and Simon Patterson here

| Originally posted by I_Am_Vince I doubt a lot of people from Montreal will come down for trance parties, especially when they probably get the same DJs a couple days before/after us. |

If anybody needs to be brought in, it is Leon Bolier.
The guy is simply awesome, productions, but most definitely sets. He has a good ear for merging genre's, while making sure to stay trancey, and actually knows how to build and finish a set, rather than just playing big tracks.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BRING LEON BOLIER.
