They just wanted to post their statement regarding the boyfriends accusations.

Which to be honest - I don't think many people believe the boyfriend. Atleast I don't. The guy may just be talking shit to get the attention off of him. He is a person of interest.

Sucks for the rep of the club. I still love Space and with bookings like this past weekend - I will def keep on going. I just hope they atleast bring back Jamie Jones and Matt Tolfrey.

I'm more mad they kicked Damian Lazarus off at 7am then the stupid baseless accusations from the boyfriend

yea that i all get. i wanna know wtf epdarks said to set space off like that. it seems like people are always bad mouthing space and yet they never reply. he musta said some serious shit.

Going back and forth with what people post on a forum should not be at the top of your priority list in the middle of a murder investigation. There are a lot of people that enjoy going to Space and there are a lot of people that love your facility but hate its staff and the way it's operated. That will never change, regardless of what YOU post. You should probably pay attention to the investigation right now, rather than sit here and attempt to answer "baseless accusations" of the people that have supported Club Space in the past and want some responsibility taken for its staffs mistakes. i asked them why year after year they allow their club to be oversold and end up fvcking over many people w/ presale tickets, and why bouncers taking bribes to send people to the front of the line has become common practice.

Yeah we all have our questions from that time in 2005 or w/e the fuk... but it's old news and right now who cares what went on?

I hope for the sake of the club that these stupid accusations don't cause Space to close for a weekend or 2 - especially with wmc around the corner. So chill a bit.

Be a bit more welcoming.. then maybe you can have your questions answered.

They already said to contact space on the website and it will be forwarded to the appropriate persons.

Im not taking sides with Space. Lord knows I've personally had ups & downs with Space in the past but this thread is not the place or time for it even though the questions are valid ones.

The questions Dan asked are indeed valid questions but this thread did not get started because of what happened 5 years ago or any other issue they may have had in the past or present.

This thread is about a woman who was murdered being last seen at Space & is now under the light because of what happened. Noone knows exactly the reality behind this story is. Yes, Space is involved to what extent? Who knows... Is the boyfriend involved? who knows..

I know everyone has their opinion but at least if we can get some info besides the media maybe SpaceMiami will keep us up to date.
Maybe it is a one time thing maybe its not. again who knows...

Unfortunately people are unfairly throwing around alot of crazy accusations against Space, especially the ex-boyfriend and Space-haters are coming out of the woodwork jumping on the bandwagon. Love space or hate it, Space should not be blamed for a murder or accused of covering it up somehow. If someone does make those claims they better have proof to back it up, or there will probably be a process server visiting them in the future .......

who here is accusing space of being the mastermind behind a murder anyway? i think the furthest its gone is that it would not actually surprise some of us if an employee of space was actually found (in a court of law) to be guilty of such a crime. we've all dealt with some of the bullshit that goes on there and some of the people there are quite shady. i think thats all some of us are saying and thats all obvious. just because some mass murderer works at the gap, doesnt mean the gap is responsible for his actions. so once again, no one is saying space is reason this girl is dead.

no one has really said that this is 100% space's fault? the space-haters are just going after personal gripes that they had with the club, but still no one has really said it's space's fault.

most of us are just going by what we hear in the news. whether the news is fabricated or not, we don't know.

Mastermind no, covering it up yes. And my post is aimed at the online rumors, not necessarily from TAs, as the internet neither starts or ends here

With that said I have read (maybe not here, but online) that the guy in the drawing used to work @ Space and Space fired it's complete staff in order to hide it. People that know I've gone to Space have even asked me about that because they heard/read it somewhere. So people have started their Oliver Stone conspiracy theories & accused Space of covering it up somehow. The ex-boyfriend also came on TV and stated the person in the drawing was in fact a Space bouncer. Anyone making those types of claims does so at their own risk, which is all I was pointing out.

The guy looks like Nelson, where has he been, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm how much is the reward for?

A buddy of mine runs one of these forums, and he gave me a bit of advice over the weekend: "Whatever you do, say yours (or the club's) piece, and don't feed the trolls".

So, I'm not going to. I'll answer rational and well-thought out questions related to the unfortunate situation concerning Paula in this thread, and I'll gladly answer what I can about the club in general in PMs or in other threads about that specific issue.

FYI, check out www.amw.com for the latest on the case. The club owner stood with John Walsh for an exclusive interview this past weekend.

I really do not think there was any need for you to come to tranceaddict to defend club space's name on a murder that really didnt look like space had any involvement, sure there were rumors to be addressed but i dont think peoples opinions here matter enough to create a user name to defend your name as a club on this.

My point (and other peoples points) is that if your going to come here to defend club space's name on such a non-issue then be prepared to address other issues. Many people have had troubles with club space over the years and e-mails to staff went unanswered or received canned answers which is why you got barraged with questions when you first popped your head in.

Your friend probably gave you the best advice you will ever get about not responding to the trolls. It is just a shame we cannot get some answers on other issues that relate to the club and upcoming events. Perhaps in the next staffer meeting see if you cannot find an employee that can look at the upcoming events threads and answer questions having to do with ticket purchases, door entry times, separation of the main room from the loft and terrace, table purchases and FU bands at least up until MMC is up.

This is not coming from a club space hater, I actually like the club quite a lot (enough to where I have in the past flown in 5 times a year from Charlotte).

Well, I was asked to post our bit wherever possible, so I did some googling, and well, here I am. Oddly enough, this is one of the few open forums I could find. Everyone either has a blog where you can't post, or their forum is dead and not worth posting on. I found one forum that even keeps posts in some sort of queue for the admin to look at.

As for answering other issues, I'm more than happy to, within the bounds of what I'm allowed to say.

MJM already told everyone here to spin it off into other threads, or to PM me directly. Now, I can't be expected to answer baseless accusations like epdarks went off about. I don't know what he expects, ya know? But anything else, I'll answer them when I can.

Then you're obviously not running your "thriving nightclub" as hands on as you should be. I've only been to Space twice and both times this was blatantly obvious. I'm not a Miami native, so it's not a big issue for me. But seeing as I've come down twice for WMC, and both times the lines were held up due to Fire Marshall or whatever shit (at least that's what me and the people in line were told), only to see people giving the security a nice tip get right in. Kind of lame.

Anyways, I was pretty sure that the Paula's boyfriend's alibi had checked out. Did something turn up to disprove his alibi now? If nothing has...don't see why he's still a person of interest, and if he's not a person of interest since his alibi is still holding true, then there's no reason for him to be shifting the blame aimlessly like you are saying. He obviously has good reason to suspect someone from your club had something to do with it. He could very well be wrong about it being an employee though.

Again, not to continue going off on a tangent, but like they say in Missouri, "Show me". Anyone can type accusations on a forum.
