trance is like a fat chick, after 78 shots they are fun as hell, but you still never tell your friends about them.

since it's mostly about contracts and big names I would go the gateway dj route for the crowd you would see at BeB.

Victor Calderone (has big following, needs to drop more energetic set, imo)
Sander Kleinenberg (see above vid, great energy and ability to move thu genres he has)
Peter Rauhofer
and Danny Torrence... DT deserves some redemption, the kind Uppercut got at Resolution, apparently. Both got shafted at Sensation.

Trance room, I'll let the experts decide but Ferry Corsten has got my feet moving in the past.

as for the trance room...i wouldnt expect anyone too crazy since trance energy is that weekend, but armin will be in north america so chances are he will be there

he averages 3 jesus poses per song
so about 6 or 7 songs into his set, start to aim

i dont think theyll book armin this year

i dont have any fact to back this up, but i would be very surprised if they booked him

Speculations are going that it's Ferry, didn't check if he's @ trance energy.

the ultra popular trance DJ is Infected Mushroom.. damn shame.

it would be nice to see some talented new faces to bal en blanc in the trance room or at least the return of those who have already done their share of destruction to those on the dance floor at previous beb events (svd, ferry, markus)... with infected mushroom already confirmed (fail) and the possibility of our favorite beb mvp (armin van boring the #1 dj in the woooooooooorld) returning for the 5th year in a row to honor his 10 year contract with beb -- one can only hope for something that won't serenade the elderly to sleep.

Carl Cox at BeB and I would un-boycott BeB for a year...

but it's not gonna happen, who are we kidding?

Any of you hoping that Calderone is booked for the house room, forget it. According to lestubbies.com, he will be headlining the after BeB @ tbd.

For those wishing to dis this event, Morillo plays Stereo on April 2.

i dont really speak french, but of course he is going to be in the house room...why would they put him in the trance room?

AY STAR, you misunderstood. It was announced that Calderone would be part of the "After Bal en Blanc" which takes place on the monday. However, the location hasn't been announced yet.

im pretty sure calderone will play beb again... i dont know for sure but the guy de_stroys the house room every year

well its on his myspace, so i guess he is doing it he been doing it for the last few years
my guess is he will probly close it out then go to this afterparty, there arent too many dj's who can keep up with him once he gets going, i would say carl cox or dt would be the only ones imo who he could play before and still manage to bang it out

as for an after party wow i went to beb 2 years ago and i stayed till the very end and i still had energy, but a few hours later i just crashed out i dunno if i could have made an afterparty, plus the crowd leaving beb was deff tweeker central

If you look at Victor's site as well as his myspace page, he clearly notes that he is playing on April 5th. Now, if you look at Bal en Blanc's web page (http://productionsplayground.com/Bal-en-Blanc-16.html) the main event is scheduled for april 4th. And no, it's not because he plays last (i.e. on monday morning) that he would write april 5th. Like the Black & Blue (in october), Bal en Blanc has a series of events during easter week (april 1 to 5th). Also, Michael Armstrong (Playground productions) confirmed this (cf. Les Tubbies).

werd it is deff a headache lol but yea technically he would be playing on the 5th, but maybe he is just doing the afterparty
again i just wrote april 5th cause i was going by what his myspace said, i didnt mean to cause any confusion

as for offer nissim, that guy/girl is terrible
i remember 2 years ago he/she went 10 min over into calderone's set
calderone looked so pissed off while offer was just singing and danceing, he didnt even shake offer's hand at the end of he/she's set lol

Just heard on a State of Trance that Armin will be in Toronto April 2...so ill bet he will be at balenblanc Aril 4..
