When was the other date for the San Francisco World Tour besides September 4th 2008?

Posted by Means+Function on Feb-24-2010 22:32:

Looking forward to Friday. I've missed Markus the past couple of times he's come through SF, so I'm definitely due.

In the spirit of the event, here's a little Markus/SvD mashup I did a few weeks ago--enjoy!

Markus Schulz v. Sander Van Doorn - New World Bliksem (Means+Function Mashup)

Love that tracklist

so we usually go in a big group...like ~12 people. half of us want to go, half of us are undecided...so we dont want to purchase 12 tickets off the bat. does anyone know what the ticket prices will be at the door?

I can't wait!! We are heading up from LA this evening and it will be my first time at Ruby Skye. We're staying at Hotel Frank and I'm hoping it's clean and quick walking distance to RS.

This morning Markus said, "Make sure everyone is loud and proud since it will be on the World Tour show next week."

OMG, I can't imagine it getting any better than this! YAY!

Hope to meet some SF TA's too

Hotel Frank is a recently remodelled hotel. It used to be called the Maxwell, but was remodelled and had the name changed -- we got a bump to one of the new Frank rooms when I booked a room at the Maxwell while remodelling was still going on...last July, when we went to see Markus then hehe. A little funky - in a good way. Lots of white w/ black trim.

It's literally on the corner of the same block that Ruby is on. It's on the corner of Geary & Mason. Ruby is on Mason between Geary & Post. I am talking 20 second walk.

Hotel we are staying is owned by the same company 15 seconds further away. Hotel Diva. hehe...

"Personality" Hotels...

I can't wait to see the both of you guys. You got some great TA family up here

edit* best part about Ruby is that when you get your stamp, they allow Ins n Outs. So you can always go back to your hotel.

Helps me out when i need to take a shit

Please be advised it's supposed to be raining quite a bit in SF starting late tonight through Saturday mid-day. Heaviest time from after the morning commute through the evening commute.

It's going to be raining in SoCal after 3pm, too.

Don't be shocked if your flight is delayed, if you're flying -- hell, it's SFO you'd prob be delayed for some other reason if not for rain!. Our flight is around noon (on Virgin)...giving us some leeway in case of delays. Rarely are flights into SF cancelled because of rain, but delays are common and can be a good couple hours easy.

LOL! Thanks for the info. It'll be great to finally meet you. It seems like I got to know you on TA through unrelated Sopranos and Patriots' Spygate posts ;-)

i hope there isn't much rain driving in..or at least it starts raining after we've completed most of our drive.

there are ac vents right under the stage that blow extremely cold air to your legs if your in the front...when i say extreme, i mean EXTREME lol.

Posted by DaveT on Feb-26-2010 17:57:

Bleh, flight already delayed 90 minutes cause of the weather.

Posted by fupaking on Feb-26-2010 18:05:

Don't worry markus shouldn't be on til 11 or 12...plenty of time

I was delayed 3 friggin hours into SFO last sunday...and it hasdn'trained for several hours...and it was a light rain at that!!!

Alain - do you have exact set times?

Posted by DaveT on Feb-26-2010 18:48:

He was just dropped off at MIA a little while ago. Longer flights tend to get higher priority landing in SFO. He probably won't be delayed as bad as me.

Posted by DaveT on Feb-27-2010 02:18:

In SF! WHOOT! Flight was delayed by two hours initially, but only ended up being 30 minutes late when as was said and done. Whoot. Looks like rain is done until around midnight. Perfect time for people to get out tonight and inside the clubs!!
