I was looking forward to CG set seeing how it was my first time lol and i have to agree with everyone
they played way to many vocals i dont mind a few vocals in a set however when you play 4 to 6 in a row
your pushing your luck but they did played some great tunes Two O Ten,Hold That Sucker Down,Irufushi

There mixing was great as for there track list selections was really bad and thats why there
was no flow to there set by playing a lot a vocals in a set imo it slows down the nite was
hoping to hear an up beat set maybe next time the nite was not a total right off got to hear
a few great tracks and seeing everyone again!!

as for Exploration Of Space dont me wrong its an epic tune one of there better tracks was
happy to hear it however it should of not been there last track its a tune that you drop
in the middle of the set b/c its a banging tune!

Was kind of pissed that i did not stay to hear more of Mark Olivers set from the 5 tracks i
stayed for hes was riping it up btw does anyone know the name of the first track he played
after CG set ? then he played See The Sun (Aurosonic Remix) holy shit i heard this tune
many times at an event i love it everytime i hear this EPIC choon!!!!

See you all for Andy Moor!

aw, I had a great time... but I'm guilting of loving the vocal tracks to an extreme, and that's where CG come in! They dropped some amazing tunes if you judge them independently within the whole line-up; but overall, yes, vocal tracks slow down and break-up a set. So the flow needed some pure beats to help everything come together nicely.

I checked out the gallery too and the DJ spinning around 4am was amazing! I don't remember now what he spun, but I looked at my watch at 4:05am thinking what a great song was playing. lol, maybe it'll come to me. I'd check him out again for sure.

Bliksem is the biggest tune I've heard in a long time.

I've had it in my head for the past week, and it came out a while ago.

Ditto, Bliksem is a dance floor bomb....Ninety was OK...Bastillion a bit more than OK....Daisy and Renegade are very average tune IMO.

I would LOVE Sander make another crazy-f*"&%-tune as Adrenaline was

OK, so that explains why. I've been searching for a TL where he spins that masterpiece, yet so far I haven't found it

Yeah he's got to pump his Purple Haze persona more.

I like that style much, much more than normal SVD.

My mom thought that you were a sweetheart. lol.

We were in Main room for a bit of MO and it was alright....got there too early. My mom was dancing all around though. Then we went into Acid Lounge. Always good hearing Jon Jon spin...love his track selections. Went over to Gallery after they opened it...Danny Nagels was on...first time hearing him. Pretty decent I thought. But once Deko-ze went on I was very happy with what I was hearing My mom too...She's like "wow he has sooooo much energy" We left around 2:30am...didn't expect my mom to last that long...especially since she doesn't drink. Only heard a little bit of Cosmic Gate...and I didn't like it at all. Went in to say goodbye to Jon Jon and some other friends and I didn't want to leave But mom def comes first. Over all good time.

uh noooooo!

SvD is all about grinding banging tech trance. it's the style what made him what he is and something that he shouldn't move away from

SvD right now is more of a blend of SvD/Sam Sharp and Purple Haze. meaning, no identity (oh, i'm so clever)

dont get me wrong. I love the stuff he puts out as Purple Haze (mmm.... Eden) but keep SvD the way he used to be.

there is enough fluffy trance DJs already. SvD must stay unique in trance

But it's not like Purple Haze productions are run-of-the-mill.
Bliksem and his older productions are brilliant tracks that are unmatched in style as far as I'm concerned (or if they're not, please direct me to a similar sound, more the merrier lol)

All I'm saying is I think he should be pumping out maybe 1 Purple Haze track to every 3 SVD tracks, but that's just me.
Or, maybe if he's doing too many, that flair for such a good sound would be lost.

Either way, I want more trance like Purple Haze stuff.
Fuck the new style that's rampant these days (read: build ups to nothing and progressive cut harshly with scissors in all the wrong places)

Exactly. Which is why his stuff pre-the last little while is so much better...it's just so SLAMMING! <3 But his recent stuff is still wickedly good.

Each of his alias' are amazing in their own way though. There's just nothing like a hint of Sam Sharp to get my socks rocking, personally...

+1

I think he should keep his productions closer to what Bliksem was, it had something that made it different from the rest. His recent productions still have the SVD sound, but I think thy're missing something
