And yes, the PMC 25 is beautiful mixer,

Yes, it's the original 1620. I have a picture of it over in the bedroom Dj photo thread. I found it in a ma and pa pawn shop. It did cost me some money. It has a couple of issues though. The right output level is much lower than the left and one of the input channels has a lot of hiss.

The 25 was the one I was asking about where I can find parts. I went through the Pasadena Center. Picked up new rotary faders, and new caps for the eq sliders. Thank you DJ Rann for the tip.

i own a Vestax VMC-002XL White and lemme tell you, it was a great mixer when i first bought it but now it sucks. Mixing on it now feels wobbely, it didn't feel like it back then tho.

i'll just sit here with my popcorn and not comment for now... RANN knows his stuff and is doing a decent enough job at the moment.

I will say though, as an engineer on several of the best club systems in the world (and i mean that literally, and with no exaggeration...) anyone who says vestax mixers sound crap is talking bollocks.

I wouldnt have one myself if they did..

What do you mean by wobbely?

I have one of those on my turntables, it hasn't given me a day of shit in 7 years, it still feels like new.

This man knows the koo - you lot would literally wet yourself if you knew the systems he works on and clubs he works for.

Remember to hit me up if you're going to be out this way.....

mixing on it feels loose and not tight and when i turn it on a lot of white noise comes out. My other mixer aren't noisy at all

Was invited to a preview of this last week...
Given a demo and run through, and I got to play with it for some time, and had it hooked up to CDj2000s and a laptop (When you link in the cdj2000s to the mixer, when you put the fader up the cdj jog dial goes red- so you know which channels are live..so cool)

The white noise function -which you can assign to an empty channel and then effect- is going to be SPECTACULARLY overused.

I'll reserve my more detailed and serious thoughts until its actually released and others have had a chance to see it and use it...
