Hey LMD,

Yesterday I went to Sutra with some friends to see Kryoman. He goes around on stilts with an l.e.d. suit and lasers spraying cold, foggy air at people. He carries a liquid nitrogen tank (I think) on his back that produces the cold air. Sometimes he shoots sparks out of his arms.

Youtube video

For the next HUGE night at Circus you should try to get this guy.

Kryoman is the type of character where the impact is only felt if the place is PACKED.

I thought it was so cool he was in LA and SF for some parties and was waiting to hear good feedback on facebook, but the general opinion was that he just used up space after 20 seconds.

He is basically fulltime in Ibiza once the season starts, so after another month he prob won't be available for awhile.

saw him at space in ibiza for Carl Cox, it was so sick and the dance floor was packed, all 5,000 people it felt like. i love the productions that space in ibiza has
so he was actually in Sutra last night?

Yeah. I'm not a fan of house music, but after seeing a video of Kryoman performing in Vegas I decided to go. Thank goodness he came on before midnight... that place gets packed very fast (the VIP areas take up about 1/3-1/2 of the possible dance floor). It definitely was the highlight of the evening.

Kryoman emerged from a backroom and walked to the main dance floor. He towered over everyone since he was on stilts. A hook was attached to his outfit and he was elevated ~10 feet off the floor. The whole thing lasted ~10-15 minutes, which was good enough. The act got a little boring after ~5 minutes... a man-robot can only do so much.

I definitely agree that the club should be pretty packed for Kryoman to make an appearance.

Yeah, after 5 minutes it was like... lasers and cold, foggy air are cool and all, but what else can you do? It would be awesome if he danced more but I imagine that would be difficult on stilts.

That looks bad ass!

So got a babysitter if we go, but money is tight until next week so still not sure. Overspent during the last month, hehe.

Want to go though, DESPERATELY, so hopefully something gets worked out!

Thanks Bro! And yes, you are too nice!

We just got back from a bday party and Devin all sick now. Prob too much sugar (since we rarely give him any, and i have never see so much at one kids bday party before)! If he is doing better in the next couple hours, we'll still drop him off at his grandmother's and go. If not, then we'll just be staying in I suppose. AHHHHHHHHHH, PARENTHOOD. Hopefully he's feeling better. This is probably his first real tummy ache. Feels horrible seeing him suffer in any way!

Can someone confirm Steve on from 12-2 and Victor 2-4 or what are the set times?

Posted by eowyn797 on Apr-26-2010 02:05:

okay this was awesome. i friggin' loved it. Thanks for the surprise Glenn Morrison, too! <3

also, that robot guy looks hilarious and amazing. is the ceiling tall enough in Circus for that?

Posted by in2muzikk on Apr-26-2010 06:43:

Great night at Circus! Steve (Thrillseekers) was amazing as always, though I was surprised that he was already on the decks when I got inside a little after 11 p.m. I think Aruna was up there with him for awhile too, so much energy!

Rumor was that the schedule had been changed to fit in Glen Morrison, and I honestly had no idea who he was until he came on, then instant flashback to the WMC yacht party with Cosmic Gate where he had played downstairs. I had just gone downstairs to use the restroom on the yacht and couldn't go back up for awhile because the music was so good...this guy is the next Digweed! (we could always use more...lol)

Victor banged it out hard and there was still a good crowd until 4! Oh, and the visuals were really stunning, great job EOS! I swore that I saw lava and volcanic ash in a few of them, but Ernesto may have also helped me out a bit there...

Had I chosen the lineup order, it would have been Victor, Steve and then Glen to close though. I think some people (myself included) missed out on part of Steve's set...I didn't think he would go on before midnight!

Had to say favorite tracks were

Above and Beyond - Farm From in Love, one of my top 3 favorite songs of all time, played by Steve. It was a beautiful surprise.

I also really enjoyed Victor's set. I loved the Ottoviani remix of Out of the Blue 2010 and JOC's remix of Space We Are. That remix of "Space We Are" is the best definition of trance that just drives hard.

What an amazing night a Circus! The Thrillseekers, Glen Morrison and Victor all played great sets. Was so much positive energy in there. Steve never disappoints. I don't think there is a DJ more fun to watch than him. Glad we got there early enough to catch all of his set. Never saw Glen Morrison before so that was a pleasant treat to the night. Victor always delivers and it was great to see him keep the place packed until 4am.

Add to that the DJ booth was at my favorite location, sound was good and some pretty nice visuals and you have a great night.

Once again I was right about "already feeling it." Such a fun night with lots of good energy and lots of dancing. I had a great time! I even got a bit of a Disco fix and borrowed someone's husband for some proper disco dancing.

Oh and it was good seeing quite a few people that I hadn't seen in awhile. That always adds to the sweetness of the night.

Gracias!

i'm glad i went to Circus for Victor's birthday set. i'm not really into trance anymore but i will always dance to good music and victor seriously delivered! he kept the dance floor packed until the end. he definitely plays much harder than the last time i saw him spin (probably about 2 years ago) which i love!!!!
his track "tonight you are perfect" was great and that JOC track was amazing too! the crowd loved every minute of it.
didn't really see too much of steve's set, just too trancey for me but glen's set was good.
nice to see a lot of people i haven't seen in quite some time since i don't make it out to circus that much anymore.

one MAJOR complaint though, when you sign up for a list for $20 after 10:30 and i get there a little after 11 pm and they try to say everyone is paying $30 that is complete BULLSHIT!!! i didn't pay it, i asked if the guy standing there was one of the promoters and he said he was and i told him i signed up on TA. don't advertise one thing and then try and do another. you lose lots of respect as promoters and it's just bad business!!!!! anywhere else i go, list don't close until 1:00 am. the list table was already gone when i got there.

but i'm glad to see that they were back in the booth, that is the best part about circus, that is what makes it unique and they should not try and do a stage, it never feels the same when they do that.

Good to see you too Trin! I had fun closing the Loft Ended up doing a combo with my other friend who is also a DJ. We should've taken over the backroom instead, we had constantly about 30-40 people dancing upstairs until they closed!

Took a picture with Glenn Morisson too, he's such a nice guy.

Fun night overall! Good energy, good crowd, and good Beef & Chicken Quesadilla!!

Honestly, I do remember who you are now. I do recall charging you only $20 eventhough I didn't even check the guestlist and went by what you said. The promotion is $10 b4 10:30 and $20 after only if you are on the guestlist. But your name wasn't on there. By the way, when was the last time we charge $30 for double headliner? Damn, it's hard to please everybody!!!! Try going to Avalon and get in for $20 at the door for a headliner and see what happen next. Never get recognize but always get BITCH at. This is BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My name is Johnny if you need to come and see or talk to in the future.
