IMO it's not fair to compare Dirtybird to Sunset
They're both great for different reasons
What makes Sunset special is their long history in San Francisco. There were people at this recent one, I saw back at the Sunsets in 1995. The same goes for the following years. It's one of the few events that can capture so many generations of dance music lovers into a vibe of good energy, stereotypes aside it was about the music and the
ideas of peace. If any place on Earth captured the essence of the sun that day; it was the people at Stafford Lake on Sunday, April 25, 2010. Some will remember it as good times at some lake, as a birthday, but many in common will remember it as Sunset. Congratulations on reaching a 16th season, it was an amazing opener!

dirtybird and sunset are both amazing crews that represent san francisco dance music and culture to the fullest. each crew has a slightly different focus on where they're taking their brand, but they are ultimately of the same mindset. the way these guys selflessly shell out the time and money to throw these huge parties free to the public year after year just so onlookers can say "this is how sf does it" shows that they still get it. after so much success in what they do, they still get it. i feel lucky to have both around and would feel incomplete if either went missing. there's something about great music under the sun in the open community that makes my soul smile...

Epic Sunday is Epic. All the right ingredients for the perfect Sunday.
But have to send a super fail to Rich for locking the keys in the car

Stopped by In-N-Out burger on the way back and I did this destruction just by myself. 3 3x3's 2 fries and a vanilla shake.
