The only thing I think is sad is that we are witnessing a polirization of styles. Both massive now talks about House room and Trance room, and offer an all around night of that same style.

That leaves a lot of interesting stuff in the middle that ends up being left out because they don't fit in a box.

Of course, being a techno fan (and dj), I feel there is almost never a middle ground when it comes to massives...it's either house or trance...lots of quality djs don't get booked because of that...

I tried to convince them to have a real tech room, but it was a little too much for this year

If it goes well with our second room, I'll have more negociation power next year for that third room. Sit tight :-)

..then how come at BeB the house room, despite the horrible line up, was always more full then the trance room, with arguably 4 top 20 trance DJs in the world?

Indeed Marcus, there is a mix as we both know that from attending Black and Blue events over the years.

I think we may be the few on this board who will go BnB and BeB, Piknic and Beach Club, Stereo and Redlite and be open-minded and comfortable enough at such diverse places
