Quite a few of you responding with DJ's that are more of producers then DJ's, and have minimal great DJ work under their belt like someone replied Dj Giotto of S.H.O.K.K. That is why I chose mainly Prog House dj's, and finished up with Paul Van Dyk...he is the best Trance DJ at the moment imo, AvB does spin the hottest tunes on ASOT shows but, im looking for total package.

I TOTALLY AGREE. You captured my thoughts perfectly. DJing is an art of progression, not just dropping uplifting tune after uplifting tune. Few people really understand this, and it sits at the creative center of electronic music.

1. Paul Van Dyk
2. Christopher Lawrence
3. Tiesto
4. Marco V
5. Sasha

i second that. i find it ironic that these dj's play soooo often and yet don't get the recognition they deserve. i mean if you heard pvd and tiesto as much as these guys you would quickly get tired of it cause they would be playing the same songs over and over. armin always does a pretty good job keeping his sets new every week which is no easy task, but the dj's your talking about...well lets just say that there is nothing more impressive then a dj with a deep record box, especially one that knows how to use it.
