The idea of a god goes back to before we were able to rationalise things like life, the sun rising, the crops growing with science and knowledge. The problem is the idea of god is so profound that when discoveries to the contrary of religious views were made there were those that chose to ignore them or rubbish them.

This was probably because it challenged the very core of their beliefs and they were unable to come to terms with the fact the sun rises because of the movement of the earth not because some divine being makes it so.

The thing I find most annoying about god is the stupid view that things that contradict his existance, disprove the folklore, explain a miricle etc etc can easily be overcome by 'faith'

Why did the baby die? god moves in mysterious ways

Why do i question the existance of god? its the devil tempting you, you must emvbrace god even more now to make up for it

Im hurting about the loss of someone? Its all better now because he/she is with god now

Why should I live my life based on a system of outdated and predjudice laws? God said so in the bible

Why should I strap a bomb to myself and blow up innocent people? alah said so

Its all shit...

God is merely perception. Best way is to become an ecliptic and learn a little from each religion who has their idea of what God is and what.

32 seems to be the magic number when these Apostles become profits time and time through history.

Even dabble in Atheism and Agnostic, pick of Satanic if you like, there is something to e learned from all religious, I'm just not a tradition person that I can devote myself to only because of peer pressure or a mate peer pressure, Just dabble around it will make you wiser.

Unfortunately, it won't teach you the difference between profits and prophets. Unless of course that was an all too clever jab as the "religion industry," in which case; well played.

Y'know what's the really cool part about life? It's that regardless of what you do, you're still going to die!

God is conscious awareness of the absolute.

Break through the veil of illusion and you will see God.

This sounds a lot like John Galt.

Religion makes sense...its meant to.

Yet another system that was created to purposely monitor the growth and conversion of a human being.

I hope you're being sarcastic...

Only an idiot would think that was sincere. I guess that makes you an idiot.

Sure, I pwn you and I must be in a bad mood. Truthfully, I'm in an excellent mood. It's not my fault you said something stupid.

Dunno what's so mysterious about acting like an asshole (especially when talking about Old Testament God).

God is mad at this thread because of the inordinate amount of cliche's used within it.
