I voted pop, coz I can't stand that BSB and stuff related, annoying sound that people dare to call "music"... guess that if I was in a tour pretending that I can sing and showing my body, I would be a star... sheesh...

But, getting seriously, the kind of music I avoid the most (and would have voted, if it was in the names) is some kind of black music, not hip hop (I can tag along with that), but the thing designated here by "kizomba" and "kuduro"... When I hear that kind of thing, I just wish I had a gun near to either kill the person who is hearing it, ou kill myself. It's just too horrible to stand.

R'n'B ... Aaaarrrggghhh ... specially that high pitched girlie harmony Destiny's Child kinda shit ... it just sounds like fingernails scraping down a blackboard to me honestly ... I will just get up and leave the room if that f****n garbage comes on the radio ... I even had to leave my gym and sign up to a new one across town, cos despite all my requests they wouldn't stop playing that MTV R'n'B shite, so loud that even my DJ Dawn mix at full blast on the minidisc couldn't drown it out

mm...honestly, i don't like house...and i guess i'm consistent since it stems from disco and i don't like disco either. generally, genres that will cause me to either become squirmy from boredom or suicidal...will have to be house, classical (bathroom/elevator music), country, new age stuff, and pop. i can tolerate other genres, but i like rock, metal, punk, and grunge tho.

im not particularly keen on commercial music along the line of 5ive (is that how they write it?) they all have pretty terrible voices and their songs are absolutely shite... but hey they wear cool clothes and put gel in their hair.. thats gotta sell records

BSB, Brittney... well they can sing and stuff.. but u get sick of seeing the same dance moves and the same facial expressions song after song... which all sound strikingly familiar and always seem to be about the same thing...

Well I don't like country at all but I don't hate it . Now what I do hate is rock ( heavy metal/ trash ) with loud guitars and screaming and rap with that "singing" , speaking stupid stuff .

there're plenty of jazz musicians who don't use saxophone or trumpets. heard of Kenny Burrell? Joe Pass? John McLaughlin? and saxophonists like Candy Dulfer and Kenny G aren't exactly jazz musicians, either.

You read my mind. That goes the same for General Hardcore as well. The beats are too fast,not understandable, and totally unacceptable. I didn't vote for anything, cuz at least one song is okay for each genre. Trance is by far the best music out there. Peace.

Once again i must say RnB. They play it too much (the whole day long on almost every radio-station). Every single kid between 16-23 claims to love it. The lyrics annoy me. The ritm makes me nervous and above all why for the love of godd (yea Marco V ) do they make RnB versions of "ol� ol� ol� we are the champions" and "if you're sexy (happy) and you know it clap your hands"

i dont dislike a single one of those genres. a true musician should be open to all styles of music. classical music rocks (not literally), metal music owns and trance music rules. my mood changes what music i wan2 listen to.

Had to go with worst of all evils. Country it was, then. Some I can tolerate, but none can I claim to in any way like. Rap was okay 10 to about 5 years ago, it's started to become "pop." Any and all hip-hop and pop should be burned. Remember, pop now, more than ever, covers many (too) many genres. Pop-rap, Pop-country, Pop-rock, etc. etc. is all shite. The occasional gem that comes out becomes overplayed to the point of insanity, therefore ruining good songs. There is little freshness in any current music period, hence my turning more and more to trance for release. Especially now as it is somewhat reinventing itself.. I figure it's the best time (and best genre) to really dig into in the last few years.
