Hey I'm coming down for PVD from Tampa, and looks like Im going by myself. My friends who live down there decided not to go because of an ex-gf issue who happens to work at this venue. I know Mansion can be a bitch to get into, any suggestions?

if you dress appropriate and get there early there is absolutely no reason you shouldnt be able to get in avoiding the bs.

Yea I'll have no problem dressing appropriately , I assume early would be anytime before midnight, or 11PM?

i would suggest 11. 11:30 might be risking it a bit. doors open at 10. get there at midnight and you'll probably have a bitch of a time waiting.

Wtf is up with Mansion? They always pull the same BS when we go there with will call. They make us wait in the guest list line........

This time I ordered hard tickets. Do you guys think i'll have any issues getting in without waiting in line and/or having to tip the bouncers? I guess the answer is to get there early (like 11:00ish), but the last thing I want to do is get there 3 hours before PVD comes on. Btw i'm going with 3 girls this time if that makes a difference.....

doubt hard tickets makes any difference at all really. the only real reason they make you wait is so they can have a big line out front for their image. nothing else. the only real way to avoid waiting out there forever is by getting there early. but no matter how early you get there, some waiting will be involved. i remember getting there once and being outside by like 10:45. waited until like 11:30 and when we got in the place was empty. but there was a huge line outside. of course.

Alright thanks, that's what I figured.....

I was gonna suggest pre-partying @ Wet Willies til I realized it's a half a mile walk between the two.. Plus it's probably gonna be slammed cuz it's labor day weekend.. Anyone know a good spot near the club to have drinks? (if anyone's interested)

wet willies isnt far. its like a 7 minute walk. 7th and ocean to 12th and washington. thats 2 blocks west and 5 blocks north. 7 blocks total. so yea 7 mins. im not just pulling a number out of my ass.

but anyway theres 2 irish pubs on that same block as mansion. playright on the east side on the corner of 13th and wash. and waxy o connors on the west side between 12th and 13th on wash.
