Still thinking about this.....if my friends still want to go come saturday night then I will be there.

ahhh... that's when they had the room really decorated up with white tarp like things on the ceiling right? and lawler's booth had red curtains and looked like a stage or something?

edit. n/m i found the pictures....

that was a party....

Could care less about the sun rise set portion... Give me some

BIG ROOM LAWLER HOUSE!!!!

Got ma skates on

I'm a maybe for this. I really want to since I'm missing Lawler the night before at Stereo, but I'm leaning more towards being responsible and enjoying Father's Day breakfast with the dad! I'll probably decide last minute.

C&C sun rise is where this summer is at!!

Lawler is so hit or miss these days, but will still be there. He was fun at London last time I saw him.

I hate seeing DJs that play at Stereo the night before because they are usually out of gas the next night...

Not if we're in MTL for Tenaglia

I generally find this to be the case too, with the exception of Satoshi who played better in Toronto the night after surprisingly.

i would be more concerned if we were in nyc for his water taxi party. you can go all out @ stereo, but he knows full well that he has an annual party here and its 2 sets in a night.

then the next day he'll be playing again during the day... i think nyc would get cheesed out the most in terms of set quality.

Meh. I've seen Lawler many, many times and I've concluded that he really shines when he plays small or medium sized rooms and terraces. Any time I've seen him play Guv main room, or any other big room he's been pretty average at best.

Anyone who saw him play at System Soundbar knows what I'm talking about.

Even his This is London sets have been far better than his Guv main room sets (on average).

I would agree with this...

As for Water Taxi, he won't be on until 7 or 8 so hopefully he has some time to recover. lol

How much is reduced? Ian and I are going to make a game time decision. I work on Sunday, so we'd probably go for Lawler's main room set and then peace.

I hope he is going to rock the main room cause the soundsystem is 100 times better than skybar. I know that in skybar there is sound limitation

he will

But the sunrise set isnt about 'rocking it out' - it's a whole different experience

I disagree. It's about rocking out in a different sense

at this type of party, you shouldn't ROCK out... not so much JAM out.

As long as we stay clear of a possible thunderstorm the weather is going to be PERFECT
