And it's funny how to him it's "just a file". As if absolutely no time, effort or resources have gone into producing it. What a fucking tool.

Again, the act of paying $2.49 for a file is absurd. I don't care who made the song, how much sweat/tears they put into it, etc...it's a ripoff.

So buy the fucking vinyl then.

I don't buy vinyls.

You know...maybe if Culprit weren't a bunch of money-grubbing fucks they wouldn't sign a deal with Beatport to make this EP a ridiculously overpriced "exclusive".

Have you guys ever heard about AmazonMP3 and their pricing models?

Posted by Adam420 on Aug-14-2010 22:14:

Have you ever considered the fact that since they're really not going to be selling a whole lot of copies, offering these tracks at $2.49 for a limited period is one of their only chances of making any money? Ad I mean, fuck, it's not like you DJ out with this shit. Why does it bother you so much to just wait a few weeks?

If they were concerned about money, they would spread their catalog around the internet as much as possible. But they don't. They keep them locked into Beatport at the highest possible prices out there. None of their stuff is on Amazon.

See the problem with small DJ-run labels is that they don't see business in the eyes of consumers. So you have potheads like bas and Clovis going to Beatport and signing these deals which fuck everyone over except people like themselves (DJ's).

And then they bitch when the consumer bitches, but consumers have every right to do so when they're looking at paying $7.50 for a three track digital EP as their only option if they want to listen to some new music.

Bas and Clovis run Culprit? When the hell did that happen?

Posted by enydo on Aug-14-2010 23:33:

You're a whiney cheap bitch is what it really comes down to.

Kid...all you spend your money on is stacks of CD's...half of which you've probably never listened to.

You have absolutely no concept of managing money.

I gave 2$ to a fucking bum yesterday.

To quote Ferris Bueller "Pardon my french but osterzone is so tight that if you stuck a lump of coal up his ass in two weeks you would have a diamond."

And despite being so tight, the fact that you manage to talk out of your ass so eloquently as you do here is nothing but an absolute feat of nature.

I bought the release in the blink of an eye. Who cares about 2$? Irrelevant sum.

Posted by shaw on Aug-15-2010 18:47:

I wanna sign an exclusive deal with Beatport, too. Bas, Clovis, please show me the way. I'll settle for just a regular Murcielago. I don't need a Veloce.
