-- Secret weapons?
Pages (3): « 1 2 [3]
Well considering there's 5 pages of people willfully giving away "tricks" that work for them I have to think innovation isn't something we're shying away from. All the OP's asking for are methods of producing/writing/etc that generally work for us on the off chance they might work for someone else.
Also, I'm very glad you're back Richie. Not sarcasm.
lets see for how long lol
well...
just for collab with this topic, not much a secret weapon...
When you find a preset that could fit the track, but it sounds thin and dead, put some fx above: distortion, delay, filtering, etc...
this way the ugly preset, can turn into a good sound.
(its a good tip for producers that arent very good with sound design)

They just said it was their secret weapon not exactly quoted as such. I have been trying to figure out the model and such, maybe someone knows about the device here. shit maybe deadmau5 can reply. details are vague because its been a long time since ive seen it. |
My best "secret" trick: read/post on TA during the day while I'm at work, close it and work on music when I'm at home.
