I never understood the whole "cats are cold" theory. My cats have always been warm and affectionate.
It's because they're rarely as affectionate as dogs. Dogs evolved from wolves, which are pack animals: they bond naturally and closely to family members. Wild cats are solitary predators, and so domestic cats retain a lot of those instincts.
Besides, dogs howl. That makes them cooler by default

I'm allergic to most cats, but I do like them. My roommate had a really badass cat who liked to hang out in my room a lot, and that was pretty cool. Cats that tend to do a lot of swiping and hissing put me off a bit. I seem to elicit this reaction from them as well, even if I do nothing. The same thing happens with my dad. I have no idea.
Dogs are really my thing. Chilling with my roommates Siberian Husky at the moment, and she is so fly. I'd really like a German Shepard once I finish up school and have more time to actually care for one.

It really is mind blowing. I'm still barely able to get over how different the attitudes of the people are. I have been here for what feels like 3 lifetimes and nothing feels or looks familiar. It really is one of the coldest and dullest cities I have ever been to. Mainly because of its people. Now go swallow a knife or something. |

I'm an immigrant too but I try to treat this place as my home. Can't say the same for most other ones. Try going to Scarborough or Markham if you wanna see lots of Asians though lol
