I dont understand what you want to do. It sounds like from your first post youre trying to make a CD with the songs mixed together so as to make one continuous mix. If this is the case I suggest you learn how to properly cause a badly mixed CD will sound pretty crappy.

Also it sounds like you changed the pitch to change the BPM, which would alter the sound of the track slightly, and you didnt like that.

I'm no DJ and I can make awesome mixed CDs in Mixmeister.
If all you wanna do is mix tracks together then focusing on BPM will get you nowhere.

With Mixmeister you won't need to worry about BPM, volume, crossfading etc. Pick 2 tracks you want mixed and it does all the work for you. All you need to do is tweak ie. choose at what part of the track the next song should start transitioning in, adjust the volume with the blue markers if one track is drowning out the other etc.

Plus it has visual tutorials that show you step by step everything you need to know to make a mix.

Out of interest what's the output quality like on Mixmeister?

It depends on what you define as quality. If you're only after simple beatmatching with limited effects and limited control etc then the output is good enough for the average layman. But if you know your way around decks and mixers then the output would probably be crap. It all depends on what your ears hear when you listen to the end result.

As for me I'm more than happy with the output cos I just wanna hear my favourite tracks in a mix so I don't hafto sit through 2 minutes of intro and outro beats to get to the meat of songs. So if you're new to mixing then Mixmeister is probably your best choice and then you can move onto Ableton, Traktor etc once you've got the basics down.

Meh. I need to record a couple of mixes for a night I help out with but really can't be fucked to unpack my decks (just moved house.) Was hoping that might have been a temporary solution.

It's not very flexible at all. There's no creativity in the mixes it does. Given you have to pay for it, I'd just unpack your decks.

There's no creativity in my mixing either. However, it's probably about time I unpack all my stuff anyway, I moved in over a month ago.
