Awesome party by Plateform. Bodzin 2010 is a Monster! A true techno master, one of the greatest live performer. This show is definitely something I want to attend every year. I would probably wait till the next live or attend a DJ set only. He has become an excellent DJ over the past 5 years.
I went to the show at Circus in Montreal on Friday and we drove to Toronto on Saturday to catch the gig at Footwork.
Both amazing nights. Very similar DJ sets (he definitely played a few more of his productions in Toronto since it was his first time there).
He played a lot of Bodzin remixes that are coming out in Oct/Nov. Highlight of the night for me were the lightsabre Puck show and the Dominik Eulberg remix of Callisto.
See you soon Toronto!

Originally posted by ~C~ lol. are u seriously trying to talk to me about this right now? Didn't this happen a year ago? Let it go. And for the record, I thought the bottle was Joe's, NOT yours, which is why I asked for it in the first place. I don't care about your vodka dude. What I didn't like, was your initial rudeness towards me, just because you didn't like my comments in a thread about Danny T? You clearly take this site was too seriously. You got pushed because you were on my ass. I would have done it anyone hovering over me like that.

Originally posted by geroin whoa whoa stop the presses, over a year ago is almost like an eternity isn't it, you must have forgotten that you initially pushed me out of the way while i was talking to joe and stood right in front of me, you were also high as fuck and didn't give a shit about any surroundings except for joe then you proceeded to take my bottle from me (without asking) and when i refused some time after you blatantly pushed me out while i wasnt even turned your way making me almost slip on the floor, you think i'm gonna forget that? you've opened a can of worms here "c" which you shouldn't have. And do you honestly think i was on your ass? jesus christ almighty, i'd rather eat donkey dick for breakfast than be on your ass ffs. you got that right

Originally posted by ~C~ high?? wrong. Drunk, yes. As were you, because your memory seems to be failing you here. Regardless of what you think happened.... this is absolutely ridiculous that you think it's suitable to discuss here. You've seen me out how many times since then? Be a man, and walk up and confront me about it in person. This is childish, it really is.

Originally posted by ~C~ WHAT?! lol take your own advice dude. You're the own that brought it up! I fucked up?! I'm not trying to make this right here. I DON'T LIKE YOU!

I like vodka

Originally posted by geroin you don't like me? good, you don't even know me to like me or not like me, you thought i was a random person in the club and you thought you could get away with your shit but when you realized i was on ta you started denying everything and claiming you dont care about this site. If you were drunk that doesn't excuse you from shit, sorry.

Originally posted by ~C~ Where are you coming up with this stuff? Gera, we'd talked before that. I actually had a nice conversation with you and Joe on Skybar once before, on a completely separate occasion. Which is why I was so thrown back when you were so snappy at me when I asked if I could have some vodka! This started with YOU. You were rude to me, so I was rude back. PLUS, I was at one of the TA Hookah nights and met you briefly then too. I had no ill feelings towards you, UNTIL that night.

Originally posted by ~C~ Listen, I'm sorry I pushed you, that was out of line. I was drunk and your attitude had made me really angry. But, u really need to take some responsibility on your end....this really wasn't all me, or I WOULD have apologized to you a long time ago. It was a situation that could have been easily avoided had you just POLITELY said "no" when I asked for the vodka. It was partly a misunderstanding to begin with!
Reading other people's drama is so entertaining.

Originally posted by geroin i know i met you before, that is why i knew who you were and that is why i declined, not only you did not say hi (to a person that you "know") but you also pushed your way through and grabbed something that was mine without asking, hence my attitude so do not put blame on me here. yes it could have been easily avoided if you kept your attitude in check, make sure next time when you respect people that are around you in a club and maybe you'll get that same respect in return. Apology accepted.

Originally posted by ~C~ ok, but it's not like you said hi either! You looked super serious, so I thought you didn't remember me, or didn't want to talk, so I kept to myself. I wasn't trying to be rude, AT ALL. Why is this so ONE SIDED?! Anyway..... It was a long time ago. I don't remember pushing through to anywhere, or grabbing anything. As for the respect thing, I do respect anyone and everyone that's nice to me, so advice not needed. I still fail to see how I personally disrespected you. You and I had a drunken clash, they happen sometimes. I wish it hadn't, but it did. What can u do.

Jamie Kidd - live at Footwork - 08.28.10
wicked party!!
Here's the recording of my opening set. (Metalogic did not perform as there was not enough room in the booth for our gear with all of Bodzin's toys
)

I like Ciara, Gera, Vodka, however, I hate donkey cock.
It was a fun night!
- the crowd was very enegetic and hyped up, even early on
- the opening sets were fun. Jamie Kidd's set was a bit harder than I thought it'd be but that's to be expected considering the headliner
- Bodzin is basically amazing
- that's a lot of gear!
- he's very entertaining to watch, his antics are a combo of funny/WTF
- found his live PA fun though it did get downright trancey at times
- I really loved the last hour of his set, seemed like it was a showcase for a lot of his productions. It was what I was expecting from the live PA.
