maybe they require some plugin not yet available in Norway. Or perhaps your are having a hard time left clicking instead of right clicking. You sure bitch alot for someone that hasn't done anything in years and still doesn't ever plan to do anything. Perhaps you should allocate your time away from websites.

Posted by Zak McKracken on Sep-14-2010 21:38:

right-clicking doesnt work either im using firefox btw.

Posted by Looney4Clooney on Sep-14-2010 21:49:

do you live in Oslo ? I've been thinking of taking a vacation there. I hope to go ice fishing and have you fall under the ice and youtube it.

Posted by Zak McKracken on Sep-14-2010 21:56:

yeah, but u cant stay here if thats whats your planning.
i dont house mentally disturbed persons.

enough for this time, ill be back tomorow with more bullshit to outlet for a frustrating everyday.

Posted by Looney4Clooney on Sep-14-2010 22:19:

I might be mentally disturbed but It isn't the weird kind that makes people uncomfortable. More like the kind of guy you would want to invite to your party because he is just so damn fun and colourful. I honestly think it is you normal people that are unbalanced.

Tracks by Mad For Brad

check out pressure and terminal.

although this was so long ago before I was studying classical. Anyways, I have put alot of effort into the materials and I hope everyone is happy. And if you don't like it, you can alter it any way you want as long as you mention how you used it when you submit your track. There will be 3-4 options so don't worry.

Posted by Rodri Santos on Sep-15-2010 14:23:

I've listened to Terminal and reminds me to my old idol Barthezz cool stuff, however that track needs a bit more groove after the drop in my opinion.

Posted by Zak McKracken on Sep-15-2010 15:51:

is that the two tracks we are remixing btw? or is it something else?

lol, yeah if this where in Germany year 2000.

Posted by Looney4Clooney on Sep-15-2010 17:33:

no

that is just an example of some of the coo melodies i've made years ago. The ones I'm doing for you guys will be really good. Say what you want about the genre but all those melodies are catchy and well made. I don't even know why I'm trying to convince you. They will be good and long so you can edit parts in , out or what ever. As long as you can explain how the melody was integrated, I don't care. I've posted the time lines on the first page. And I think i'm going to up the prize money,

Don't want to brag Brad, but this style is my forte
So gimme some chords and i'll give some goosebumps back.....

Posted by Rodri Santos on Sep-15-2010 19:38:

i'm a bit more into progressive trance and house lately but i am usually into this style to, Alphazone , Airbase , Sean Tyas etc... well that tracks are oldies but this music has evolved into the music that this guys produce now

Posted by Looney4Clooney on Sep-16-2010 22:00:

Last day. Will start sending pm's to everyone in the next few days. I also might change the rules as so many of the entries are great. I'm thinking of having 16 contestants, where the first cut is done by voting. All entries anonymous so no cheating. The second half will be by judging. Something I will have to think about. Not a fan of voting as most people voting don't really know how to judge music but I want to give all the people that are qualified a chance but most of the pledges are rather impressive.

Posted by Prototrance on Sep-16-2010 22:09:

Got a remix to finish for a label and I'm sorting my imminent emigration to Australia. Otherwise I would be in this comp'.

Hope it goes well and there is a round 2 that I can take part in once settled in Oz.

Posted by Looney4Clooney on Sep-16-2010 22:12:

I have a feeling the time line will extend to early december. Maybe a month and a half to finish the track for November and then the rest of the time to judge. Don't want to rush anyone.

Posted by Sinnica Hax on Sep-16-2010 22:13:

Good luck to you all, i am excited to see how this evolves

Posted by Looney4Clooney on Sep-17-2010 01:22:

Aight, pledging is closed.

Posted by TaylorR on Sep-17-2010 01:36:

pretty excited about all this. lol

Fuuuccck! This pisses me off. I haven't logged in a couple weeks and just saw this. I'm not pissed that pledging is over I'm more pissed that I got rid of my studio pc (sold it) so I can finally get something fast enough for my needs.

If this contest was like 3 weeks later not only could I have entered but I would have had a beast of a computer to work on.
Just didn't wanna press myself for time like that though.

Very cool to see stuff like this M4B I hope you do another one maybe early next year. My biggest question still remains of wtf motivated you to the point of spending $400 of your own money just so a bunch of nonprofessionals can have fun? Unless its being funded some other way but thats possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen someone on this forum do.
