i just watch the show to laugh at him, because he makes an idiot of himself enough for the rest of the show to be bearable.

How come so many of you like fried foods?.. Where does the 'comfort' part come in?.. maybe it's just me but I feel quite uncomfortable eating it, and a few minutes later I feel like absolute shit.
I can't do fried foods at all anymore.. A lot of it may be psychological, I cringe just looking at it.
Of course it's all psychological. Fried/high fat/greasy foods often have a calming effect on people or at least stimulate certain pleasure centers, likely derivative of times past when it was generally more advantageous to consume substantiates for lean times. But of course, excessive amounts and sedentary lifestyles have tended to give fatty food a bad rap. You like avocados, right?

Fried chicken is transcendental. I remember a documentary where a group of tribesmen from Papua New Guinea spent a few weeks in Britain absorbing Western culture, and they considered Kentucky Fried Chicken by far the best food ever.
