I used to have the bad habit of devouring chocolate chip cookies when I was hungry and too lazy to cook a meal, but I recognised this problem and stopped buying them.

oh yeah...grill cheese sandwich with like 12 slices of different cheese.

i saw a krispy kreme bacon cheeseburger on man vs food (awesome show) the other night, and when i try that it will most likely win.

Love that show. I think the reason he loses most time challenges is because he spends too much damn time talking about the food and high fiving fans.

Posted by IL Duce on Sep-23-2010 19:37:

or because he is a fat fuck, and fat fucks are never winners.

i just watch the show to laugh at him, because he makes an idiot of himself enough for the rest of the show to be bearable.

He is fat as fuck haha I saw him do some travel channel food/running challenge and his ass was too fat to finish the required distance to run. Too many 7lb cheeseburgers and 12 egg omelettes.

Mashed potatoes and stuffed chicken breast.

On any given day.

How come so many of you like fried foods?.. Where does the 'comfort' part come in?.. maybe it's just me but I feel quite uncomfortable eating it, and a few minutes later I feel like absolute shit.

I can't do fried foods at all anymore.. A lot of it may be psychological, I cringe just looking at it.

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Sep-23-2010 20:23:

Of course it's all psychological. Fried/high fat/greasy foods often have a calming effect on people or at least stimulate certain pleasure centers, likely derivative of times past when it was generally more advantageous to consume substantiates for lean times. But of course, excessive amounts and sedentary lifestyles have tended to give fatty food a bad rap. You like avocados, right?

Hell yeah, nature's most delicious fruit. It's full of fat, but most of it is relatively good fat.

'course. But avocado is very healthy. Fried chicken asshole dipped in honey Dijon sauce isn't.

that mashed potato and stuffed chicken you posted isn't healthy either.

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Sep-23-2010 20:33:

Fried chicken is transcendental. I remember a documentary where a group of tribesmen from Papua New Guinea spent a few weeks in Britain absorbing Western culture, and they considered Kentucky Fried Chicken by far the best food ever.

Oh that's a bit better. It's the skin that makes it uneatable for me.
The skin is already all fat, but it's just plain disgusting when it's breaded and dripping oil.
