thats how i took it.

so armin keeps getting paid $$$ for his gigs, does this mean dash berlin's pocketbooks are about to get fatter since he hit #15? i would expect spundae to update their flier to reflect this for the show next month.

I think its complete horse cock that people say "OMG OMG Armins set is good, compared to.... blah blah" The songs he's playing has been the same for how many months now? They're all from the same labels by the same producers??? Just the track listing is in a different order... Unless hearing alpha into silent hearts reallllllly makes his set better to you then say alpha into Orbion?

P.S. no hate on Armin at all. Just asking..

No one knows, only Armin is playing it and he has not said the name..

some people claim that it's a W&W track, others that Marco V vs. Sander van Doorn..

Posted by dashdash on Oct-27-2010 23:54:

Armin looks really happy that he got #1 again haha

Posted by DjWoody on Oct-27-2010 23:56:

This song is fucken HARD!!!!

Quite the classic choice to close out by Armin. At least that one proves some of his productions still have really big lasting beauty.

Kudos to the kids that made the list. Regardless of how I feel about the list, its shows they have earned someone's respect out there for their career. That's an accomplishment in and of itself.

To be honest... the room looks boring as crap imo. WTF is with the LED element... learn to use you god damn tech venues or don't invest in it. Oh, that's right... you don't want to pay to have someone who knows what they are doing! Maybe its only because its the side room... but still!

Anyone?

^^I mean...I agree with you. I'm not much of an Armin fan personally though so I don't know exactly how guilty he is of that...or to what extent.

That's exactly how I feel about deadmau5 though- first 4 times I saw him 3 of the sets were pretty much identical. But then again I guess he's not really a dj, but a performer/artist rather who puts on a show.

also
is deadmau5 playing on two ipads????

Posted by bigperf on Oct-28-2010 00:10:

didnt see deadmau5 this year, but im sure this set is the same as the one he has all year long.

Haha, if you want to talk about someone who plays the same set over and over, heres your chance!

Deadmau5

Posted by Cool1g on Oct-28-2010 00:13:

everyone please turn on your camera/camera phone right now! lol...

Posted by Contrasts on Oct-28-2010 00:13:

NO!!!!! I'm not saying what you guys are thinking. Trying to say why people jump on Armins dick for the set he just spun when its really no different then his "typical" type of set. Not trying to say he plays same songs over and over. Just asking people what makes this set so special compared to the rest?

Armin is awesome, I'm not trying to talk trash about him what so ever

Ahh internet crashed, what was his closing track?

It indeed appears he is using some sort of tablets.

You know why he has the mousehead? To had his not smiling face and appease the public that a performer is actually not enjoying himself... or wait, maybe its just to hide his face from people in general.

Sorry... can't stand the person. As a producer he is fine enough, but I can't stand the person he is.

Hahahaha I haven't heard trance almost the whole year, so to me it sounds fresh.

Oh I quite agree but then I'm honest when I hear DJs. Armin's set was okay but nothing stellar at this show. I felt the same way through some of his set at EDC. I also called out how crappy BT's set was but was kind to a friend who hadn't seen him before and thought it was okay. Then we saw him in the club and I explained (which was much better). If a set's mediocre why not be honest about it? I don't give a shit who it is... hell... I think my sets suck even though the dance floor rocks to them, but that's because I don't think I'm a good enough DJ yet. There is always room to grow yourself and the instant you stop doing it, you begin to really suck.

Armin's got no challenge right now in trance, and really doesn't have a lot to fear from the house movement imo. He isn't my #1 right now, but he isn't bad either.

I don't listen to Armin all the much and trance in general but last time I saw him 6 months ago or so his set was different. All I can say is that I was enjoying what I was hearing. You're probably looking too much into it.
