its comin along. going back to work full time in the new year. its been a fuckin year! its driving me nuts lol. but ya its comin back slowly. trying to build up my hamstrings right now, find it painful going down stairs properly, all my pain is strength issues and tight muscles. i see myself returning to running normally by summer. maybe sports by september or oct. its been a long journey

well at least it sounds like you're gonna have that option to go back to sports. that in itself is a privilege, man. one of my best friends fucked up his knee during a hockey game back in high school and had to get screws put in it. fucked his entire sports "career" up. i know how much you love football dude so that would be a bummer to not be able to play again.

I have to admit I sort of miss the drama. All those highs and lows, that vivid roller coaster of emotions. The way people were relentless about jostling, competing, testing each other. Not yet initiated into the subtler, polite ways of full adulthood. Always some breaking news happening with somebody.

Life seems so slow and sedate anymore.
