http://theviewfromhell.blogspot.com...-policy-as.html Basically, this woman thinks life is such a terrible thing that nobody should have kids (and that it is even immoral to have them). There is actually a circle of these people, "anti-natalists," who all comment on one another's blogs. You can find a lot of them from this page: http://antinatalism.blogspot.com/ Not exactly light reading. |

BUMP!
Old people can be frustrating, no? How do you suppose the entire population of Armenia, half the population of Georiga, and parts of Azerbajian feel about old people after yesterday?

| Grandma Shuts Down Entire Country's Internet Internet service in all of Armenia was cut off for several hours when a 75-year old Georgian woman inadvertently cut the main service line between the two countries. The woman was scavenging for scrap metal when she discovered the primary fiber-optic cable which runs through the two countries. Service went down when she apparently hacked into it with a shovel severing the line, officials said. "She found the cable while collecting scrap metal and cut it with a view to stealing it," Georgian interior ministry spokesman Zura Gvenetadze told AFP. The damage was apparently so severe that 90% of Armenian users lost access for nearly 12 hours while neighboring Georgia and some areas of Azerbajian were also affected. Christened the "spade-hacker" by the local media, authorities arrested the woman just outside the Georgian capitol of Tbilisi where they charged her for damaging property. If convicted, she could face three years in prison. Copper looting is a common means of making money in the former Soviet Union. Certain scavengers have been known to dig up hundreds of meters of cable. |
She, quite literally, hacked the internet.
Nice bump.
Reminds me of a few years ago here. A bunch of retard tradesmen were digging up shit on the Gold Coast, with a huge excavator. From what I understood, they needed some extra dirt for something, and decided to grab it from somewhere close.
They dug up the main fibre-optic link between the states of Queensland and New South Wales. Killed so much internets, lol.

Seriously, I am on the dipping point according to that chart, but I couldn't be any more happier as I reach it. There is 0 autonomy when you are young and old. I don't understand it.
And being old sucks. I bet you it's just self-deception on old people's part. I can't imagine myself being old, wrinkly, and forgetful.
I'd love to see a comparison among people ages 35-55 divided into six groups:
1. Married with kids
2. Married without kids
3. Single with kids
4. Single without kids
5. Divorced with kids
6. Divorced without kids
I have a feeling there would be some large differences in happiness levels.
